The DZ Nuts version on Shapeways. The color doesn't come through, but it is a dark brown metallic. The battery door will have to be repainted, as the end of that paint can wasn't kind. Yes, this is the one with the 1800 mah battery, I'd ordered it before I was coached in the "purchase" thread about Lipo costs.
It is a beast, but fits very well in the hand. Things I'd do differently is plan the connections for the 510 better, as I should've aimed them down to make the install easier (the 510 is very close to the board, but there's adequate clearance for a little loop down).
I also suggested to this designer that he target a cheaper battery. Those 1500 mah's would fit nicely with a mm here and there.

I'm working on my Hammond box now, drilled my holes and hand filing the screen and usb opening tonight. I did like Trucker did here ->

I printed the layout from the pdf file he posted (linked >>here<<), cut it out and cut out the screen and usb holes with an x-acto knife, then taped it on the side of the box as a template. I used a needle to push through the paper and mark the centers for all the holes to be drilled, push hard and it will leave a little pricck punch, then use a real pricck punched before drilling. To leave a layout on the box for the usb and screen openings I used a magic marker and inked where I had cut out those openings from the paper, that leaves me with an inked layout on the box, just drill a few holes to start with files, then just file away all the black.
As far as what to do with the board, you could make a sled to hold the board then glue the board in place, use screws and nuts or use switches and wire them to the board instead of the on board switches, that would make mounting the board less critical but there's more soldering. I bet it won't be long and we'll see nuts, bolts, sleds and kits being sold on ebay for mounting these boards in boxes like the Hammond's.
I started making a sled to hold the board and planned on gluing the sled to the box, I may go a different route before I'm done.

Tomorrow I am going to make a solution of cyanoacrylate, acetone and black fingernail polish and see how it goes....

Yea...food for thought. There are a lot of ways to make a DNA200 mod...imagine having a great mod with ample battery for under $100 vs what the retail side of things is bringing to market.
That's a keeper! That's what's fun about the building process, solving issues and seeing the creative ways other's come up with. Wouldn't it be neat if we all lived within driving distance of each other and could have building parties!
Reminds me of the HeartBeat HB40 from Hcigar. Is that a 1550p? I wonder what size battery he got to fit in there?
Under $100??? I'm at $130ish with my BRD200
. At least the Hana V200 was under $200 . I was worried it would be $250+. $199 is a bargain.
