should have followed the link before running my mouth![]()
Is there a story about this lol? There have been lots of questionable problems with their service I've read on various groups.Box Mod Kit
They also have 1300mah kits now - suprise, suprise! Boy they brought them out quick! Almost like someone gave them the plans.
Sorry typo/habit, my bad
I have their box mod (99% clone of the Evolv reference mod) and it's great except one small thing. The holes inside the case (to hold the board) aren't tapped. If you're not aware of that, you'll mount everything and then wonder why the screws aren't grabbing. They probably assumed that the screws would self tap easily but that wasn't the case with me. I had to remove the board and tap each one of the holes. I was terrified the tiny screw would break inside the hole, rending the mod useless and one almost did. For the price I paid (50 bucks plus shipping) I expected a zero issue case. You won't get a better deal than this $110 all in Evolv ERM style anodised case, limited colour choice Silo-950 DNA200 Build Kit Includes everything board, battery, 510, buttons & wire.
Yep, I've never seen that site before & that looks absolutely perfect for my first "build" How's the quality of the kit? They don't mention much including dimensions but I assume minor filing & fitting plus some soldering is all that's required?
Cigreen is base in Ireland
I've built 3 and you are right about the board mount holes I tap them to M1.6 and the back of the buttons need a lot of metal ground off. The price is crazy low for what you get board, battery, wiring and an Evolv inspired 510. Over here no one is selling decent 510s and DNA200 are £54 + shipping.I have their box mod (99% clone of the Evolv reference mod) and it's great except one small thing. You can have the VT200 case for much less in the UK.
My two cents

Anyone got a working coupon code for Modcrate? All I find online are failing to take?
Oh my, what is that? That is awesome, where is the thread?
custom-made coming out of russiai believe he deals just through fb
You could certainly do worse than the Orange one. Everything you need except an XT30 setI was thinking the same exact thing about color choice but I do have an orange Sunbox that would match that Silo rather well, even have a couple of drip tips for that all matchy matchy look.
There is not enough room for a XT30 with a fullymax 900 and I doubt there will be with the Nanotech 950 supplied. You could certainly do worse than the Orange one. Everything you need except an XT30 set
