Already wrote that paper! If anyone wants me to share it I'd be happy to! Yes nurses either die from cancer of some sort or get to old & have to retire, it seems to be our biggest thing. It's surprising how many nurses & other med professionals smoke. I would love to put together something for a health fair or something.
I hit my 8th month of smoke free mark a couple days ago, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around that. I smoked for 33 years and it was such a big part of my life, it is hard to believe that I don't miss it.
Hey Ladies I am new to the The Woman's room. I saw Classwife banner at the bottom of her posts. I have been smoke free these past few months after about 29 years of smoking I am 51 yo I have tried every method to quit the past 3 years nothing worked. Had some scary health issues in Feb and realized had to quit. Feb 25 2011 smoked my last cig in the early am and have not picked up another one. Had some e-cigs I had purchased a year ago and didn't really get into.I decided to try them again and got them out of the closet and started using them. So far successful Of course have updated my equipment to a Riva after 2 weeks Had (volcano and blu kits) so happy I tried this again, every day I ask myself " do you want a cig? The honest answer is, I really do not. Anyway that is my story and thought I would drop in and say HI!
