Mini and 901's

Hey all. I've posted before regarding my love for the 901. Has anyone else ever had trouble using their Reo with a 901 adapter? My Mini has killed three Eastmall 901 atty's in the last week. I suppose it's possible I got a bad batch? I ordered 5. I get them from E LiquidPlanet and have not had a bad one in the past using them on my Riva 901. Here's what has happened. I put the new atty on and break it in per usual- blowing out the primer then adding 4 or 5 drops etc.... Hits really good for a few hours then performance degrades until it just stops. Any thoughts?

I'd blame the attys first and then the adapter. Hard to say, really.

Are these LR atty's? What voltage is your Riva battery (i.e. is it a true 3.7)?

Yeah they're LR. 1.5 or 1.6 depending on where you look. My Riva is not the SE so I don't think it's 3.7v true. What's odd though- it's hits about as good as the Mini all things being equal. Yes I'm using AWIMR14500 batts!

Bad atomizers unless your adapter is set up improperly and your pushing the center pin up on your atty.I have a feeling you would have cooked your mini though if this was the case.Most cooked mods that come back to the shop are from people using adapters.Keep me informed

Will do. Thanks Robert. I've been suspicious of the whole adapter thing.

Also, Eastmall attys cover the entire quality spectrum with their attys. Some are superb and some are total garbage. You might have gotten one of the "bad run of attys" people mention here and there. I have some Eastmall 510 attys. One I love very much. The rest aggravate me.

Had good luck until my last order. I tried an Ikenvape 1.8ohm 901 and it was either flooded or dry. Works GREAT for dripping on the Riva though.
