all i can tell you is the LR 1.7 DSE's have never leaked much, and are as good or better than Ikv 901 in my experience...not to mention price if you get 1 or 10 (i think $5 or $3.+)
Havent tried my HH 901 yet as the HH510 is still working just fine after a week. I have it on my eGo p/t. :)
Question for you 901 vets. I've been using an IKV 901 and I love it, and for the most part it does not leak. I've since tried a different IKV 901 plus one from cisco and a 357 901. All these other leak like crazy. I do have a drip shield from IKV but it makes the draw way too stiff. I open up the air holes and that didn't help at all, so I went whole hog and drilled another six holes in it but the stiff draw is still there. I do have a standard and a delrin coming from empire mods and am hoping these solve the leaking problem but don't affect the draw much at all. So, does anyone have any experience with either the IKV or the empire drip shields and how they compare.

I always blamed the leaking on my sloppiness squonking. I could be more careful or I could use a drip shield. I chose the drip shield. I haven't used one from IKV but, I have both an empire mods and avid vapor drip shield. The only time they've had any effect on the draw is when I didn't push them down far enough and covered the hole in the atty with the O-ring. You sure you aren't putting that drip shield on upside down? The vent holes should be on the top.

Ok. Got the empire mods delrin and regular drip shields in today and have been using them steadily for about 6 hours and am in love. I can't tell what's different about these but this is the best vaping experience I've had to date. Using one with the IKV 901 and one with a DSE 901 I also got from EM. Both are hitting brilliantly and I can't see much difference between them. The flavor, draw and vapor are off the charts, but the big plus is consistency, not to mention not one leak all day.

These are so good, but I can't believe I've not heard more about the 901. With the correct shield this blows away any 510 I've tried, well maybe for a HH 510, but my luck with those has been so bad that it's not worth the cost IMO.
