ops.... Nevermind... I'm on call from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Sunday 14th. Soo I can offer rides just incase I need to show up to work ...
If we get more than 10 people we might need to send a scout to see if we can fit more people on the patio. It's not that big. Inside it is though
ok guys, got a lil' update on the meet we have planned. Rip just got off the phone with the owner and the owner had some concerns, along with the city having a "no smoking ordinance". the owner says we can be cited by police if caught, as well as his establishment can be cited and fined. this means even if other patrons there at the resurant dont want us vaping around them, they too can call the cops and report us. as far as reservations go, we cannot reserve the patio section of the place.
so theres where we are at so far. i'm sure we all dont mind explaining it to the cops, but we dont wanna run the risk of the owner being cited. i think we should all keep high hopes for this and serch for surounding cities without bans so that we can enjoy our GTG. please post any and all info if you find anything asap. -ChRi$

Thanks for that info. I still think long beach would be best. No bans on smoking at all. Please consider BOSTONS. It's a great place with a patio are big enough for over 25-30.

Fantastic food, they have a full (seperate) bar and a patio area. The patio area is (I believe) partially indoors... sort of a seperate area, off of the bar. Depending on how many people join, we could easily sit in the patio area.
If anyone likes the idea, and wants me to inquire, let me know.
(I did check out Boston's... seemed to get mixed reviews, but I'm easy)

Torrance, Long Beach, or Huntington Beach seems like a good region. Or even Anaheim or Santa Ana... its a little close to Rialto anyway.

any good bar/grill in those areas guys? Shel please call luciles and ask if we can vape on the patio section of the resturant. tell them that its NOT cigarettes or smoke, its vapor. if we can see about us reserving the patio section. if not we can wing it, i dont thin there will be as many of of as the last time. report back asap, we only got about a week to know. thanks

Just spoke with Tim, the manager at Lucille's.
He says he's heard of vaping, knows what they are, but he'll have to check with the general manager. He said (which I already knew) that the patio is covered, and indoors. I explained that I knew that, but that we were going to be vaping, NOT smoking, and that vaping IS legal in areas where smoking is not.
He says he'll get back to me by Tues.
We can either wait, or, perhaps a better idea, see what else in available in the meantime.

cool, well its not a no definate "no" yet. there are quite a few resturants right there in the landing from what i remember. all right there on the water. hopefully we can get somthing going, and i hope we get good news on tuesday. (i hate the politics in california, did i mention that?)

Im tellin you guys lets go to BOSTONS in downtown long beach! theyre patio is big enough to hold any amount of people and its smoking is allowed so vaping is for sure allowed. SD guys sound like they would like to have it centralized which seems fair. from SFV to SD area Long beach is nearly a great center point for the meet. i've eaten there and i have no complaints its a fun place, the bar area is seperate from the dining area, and the outdoor smoking area is also covered. the bar has TV's and is always lively from past experiences. parking shouldnt be a problem because there is a big parking garage across the street.

i really want to check out villians tavern, its a one of a kind place. i've been to bostons here in rancho and its good. either way i just want to be able to sit back with a beer, eat and vape all while at the same damn table. Brian i'm sure they are ok with vaping if you've been there lol. can you see if they are open for lunch for us? its hard to pick a place when no ones makes calls to get the ok first. maybe a bar that serves food that will let us vape inside, but i dont wanna have to shout over people if its too loud inside.
OK either one Villians or Bostons... I think if you wanna nail it down now it would be Bostons because of what Jonny said....

ok sounds good. ill be checkin in on this thread til tuesday then! i posted on another socal thread telling them to invite a new local vendor thats from culver city. hopefully he gets the message. i'd love to see some vendors or suppliers come join in on the fun.
BTW ill be bringing about (10) 10-20ml bottles of different flavors for trade preferably but Ill probably be giving away some small bottles too because i've got some flavors that just arent my flavor if you know what i mean. Also a slightly used REO mini will be up for sale. Shes a beauty too. Hope someone can coordinate some sort of games or raffles at this meet too just like the SD meet.
