I posted this in another thread, but the problem with that is the handful of customers that like the juice fresh out of the mailbox, the ones that prefer it to sit for a week, and the ones that won't touch it for two months. Everyone's got different tastes and needs, mixing and shipping is the best way to accommodate everyone.
I always assumed they didn't want the less popular flavors sitting around much, much longer than the popular flavors. Somewhat along these lines:
My guess: It adds flexibility in inventory management. Until you blend the ingredients, your inventory consists of... ingredients. Those ingredients can be used in many different flavors of finished liquid and in different nic strengths. But once you've mixed them, now you've got flavors that can't be unmade. That inventory has to roll out, and roll out quickly.

I think its a little bit narcissistic to think just because you dont like something the rest of the world is perfectly content with needs to be changed.

Hey wait a darn minute there. :)

Whatever was Ferdinand Magellan thinking when he decided to circumnavigate the earth----when the rest of the world was perfectly content to believe it was flat. ;)

(despite that Eratosthenes determined the Earth's shape and circumference using basic geometry in the 2nd century, Pythagoras in the 6th century and Aristotle in the 4th century had mathematically proven it wasn't flat either---but only the more educated people during this time had read those texts, since most people were not able to read and/or had no access to such scholarly works.)

Funny how things just don't change over time

The term that you are all looking for to describe the process of letting liquids sit around to achieve some ultimate state is thermodynamic equilibrium.

We can now summarily dispose of such terms as "steeping, aging, mellowing" and the like and call it like it is: We want our liquids to equilibrate.

And, as usual, I am right. :p

And right along those lines DVap, leaving behind concepts such as steeping, aging and mellowing, I prefer to think of this process as entropination. My juice needs to entropinate. It has entropinated. Yup, that's my story and I'm ... ;)

Mine has "primed" and "cougared".

Down he-ah in Jaw-ja we just let er set a spell.

 Dayum, wish I was more southern than just a Southern Californian!

I was think about buy a small oak barrel to age my vanilla custard in

Ummm... 5 Pawns comes to mind. ;)

All these boutique vendors BRAG about how they make your juice, fresh, and to order.
Apparently, you are paying a premium for this.

Don't get me started on these boutique vendors... there are worse ways to piss away your money, but not very many.

Edit: I should lighten up a bit on them... if the quality is good, pay for that. Just think twice about paying for what amounts to marketing.

But "gettin' gooder" has some pastabilities... I rather like that one.
"Pastabilities" huh? I rather like that you use pastabilities to describe potential. :)

Patsy dear... your "Evolve to the state of Nirvana" may be an infringement, or a killer sales tool (which ever comes first) of Nirvana Vapor. Let the evolving fall where it may.

Would the motion to get "USB passthru" on devices that don't have a battery be called "USB bypass" get seconded?

Lol. To join in on another derail, those devices really aren't either, they're just "USB powered", IMO. As a technician, "Bypass" and "Passthrough" imply other functions.
