Another memorable gift for my father was the Atari 2600. He like Pong so much, we bought it for him for Christmas the next year. When that game system came out, we could never imagine it could get better than that!

Blackadder is another of the Britcoms that I love but I didn't remember seeing this. Watched last evening and will watch again but with hubby the next time. Blackadder is one of those I always found I get more out of it the 2nd or 3rd time than the first...

I remember one Christmas when I was a teenager my 2 best friends and I decided to go Christmas caroling. We went to many homes in our neighborhood and sang our hearts out. Everyone was surprised when they offered us money and we refused. We didn't do it for money, we just wanted to spread Christmas cheer. What a great feeling.

My family gathers at Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. Our Thanksgiving was very nice this year. Christmas is coming, and this Bing Crosby offering reminded me of that.
