Wow, miss a week, and I missed a bunch of pages!! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. My nephew went to the IHOP and got us each a turkey supper and brought it back. yummm (not) it was better than I thought it would be, but that's still not saying a lot. lol I did get to try lingonberry jam and that was very good. Sweet and tart like cranberry sauce, only even better than cranberry sauce.

Very excited that tonite I get to not only watch a Dolphins game (rare here with two Texas teams), but I get to watch it WITH my son! We haven't gotten to watch one together in a few years, so this will be very kewl!! Now we just gotta win it! Unacceptable to lose to the Jets anytime, but especially when they're 2-9!!

Haven't been able to get on here since I got back to where I live, but now I'm using my nephews old laptop, so hopefully I'll be able to get on more regularly. It had a lot of issues before, but that was with IE, I finally got Chrome to work, and so far it's doing good. Hopefully it will keep on working. Good to be back! Talk with y'all later.

I hope you ALL had a FANTASTIC THANKSGIVING and have eaten way too much, such as I !! It looks like the Contest is moving along very nicely and I wish to thank everyone for sharing their Holiday memories with us all! There's only TWO DAYS left before a mere Mortal shall be granted The Majik Key and gain access to the Mistyx Color Cauldron... Where their wishes shall be totally granted!

I was looking for a nice video but they all seem to be the full length episodes but I remember watching all of the episodes of All Creatures Great and Small and always loved their special Christmas episodes. I have those on disc too so think I need to get them out and watch them again.

I really need to find a way to rekindle my Christmas spirit this year. Maybe that will do it

There are several non-Christmas songs that make me think of the holiday season. One example is by a pop-producer who went by the moniker, M. My friends and I really liked "Pop Muzik" by M when it came out. It was quirky and nonsensical, kinda like us. The song was hugely popular in the fall-early winter of 1979. My friend bought the 7" single and... and we couldn't get enough of the b-side, M Factor, which is even more zany than the a-side.

I remember when we got our first Atari and PONG.Then came the downhill skiing and some other games.

OK now I feel really old...

Beep...beep...beep.. beep beep....beep....beep....beep. Oh yes, I remember it well! We used to turn the volume down and crank up the Rock music while we played. We called it "Rockin' Pong". We'd have entire parties centered around it! That and "Breakout" :toast:

Good one!

Ok... now you went and did it... you got the 1st song stuck in my head, so I had to go find the video!!! LOL!!

I must admit that I actually liked the song, and the video, too... but IMHO, the B-side just sounds too much like Devo for me....(R.I.P. Bob #2)

Hey Kitty!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! BTW, wasn't that song the first video ever played on MTV? Me thinks so....

Great tune.....that and "Cars" by Gary Neuman...;)
