Mixing with microwaves

I have only been DIY for a couple of months. Got my first order from WL with almost all Lorann flavors. Mixed some batches but alot of the flavors still had that chemical or alcohol taste even after a couple of weeks of airing out and steeping. I thought there has be a way to evaporate the alcohol quicker and get the flavors to mix quicker. What I did was just using the straight flavorings of the percentage I needed was to put them in a 15lm bottle and nuke it for 8 seconds, anything longer and the bottle will be too hot. Then squeeze the bottle for a minute to push out the vapors and repeat another time or two. You can smell the reduced odor each time you do this. I then add my required PG and another 8 seconds and shake. Some time if it is a low percentage I add 1ml of PG before the full required PG Added VG, 8 seconds and shake for a couple of minutes. Wait to cool down some then add my nicotine. Can vape right away but there is a harsh taste from the nic Set the bottle on my cable box for 12 hours. Shake and vape! The juice does get a little better after 2 days.I still I do this with all the flavors I have bought so far even if alcohol is not listed as an ingredient. The only flavor I am having a problem with is Lorann strawberry banana which has the 2 T,s. About to give up on that one.

The chemical taste could be from over flavoring or not letting it steep long enough. airing off alcohol should only take about 24 hours with the cap off. Also you should never steep with the cap off because you not only evaporate alcohol but you also evaperate flavor. A microwave is not the greatest way of steeping. I would suggest you read my blogs and particularly the one on steeping.

Read my blogs before getting started

then read hoosier's blogs.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.
