Does anyone own aEhpro and rainbow heaven. I am curious as to the differences and which one is better build.

I received one in a CoOp to compare to the MKB-TS.. The EHPro DHX-TS is made by Tobeco. The threading is terrible, and most all of the parts are not compatible with the MKB-TS. IMO, it's a POS. I still have it, and won't sell it to anyone because of how rough the threads are. If you go back a few pages in this thread, I posted about it, and showed a couple of pics..

VenerableVaping.com just got some of the EHPRO ones in and IMO it looks just as nice if not nicer than my MKB. I got an early MBK so I got a stainless steel spring and no locking ring on the inside of the tube to hold the button in place. THe one he has has a gold plated spring and a locking nut on the inside portion of the switch.

I emailed him because I was sceptical of the quality. I asked him for pictures of the GG threads shortly thereafter he sent me a response with a link to his FB page where he posted pics of the threads. I gotta say they look great... and at 59.99 I am sold. I just ordered one :)

What is the deal with trying to use a Kick with this mod?
I cant seem to get it to work with the Kick.

Are you using a genuine Kick? I have used both an Evolv Kick and Artisan-Vaping Crown in mine with no issues. One must be careful when tightening the telescope down though... ;)

You may try cleaning and scuffing-up inside the tube around where your device is, and make sure it's making good contact.

My Kick is the one made By Smok-Tech
I did use sandpaper to clean up the contact point on the tube. Still no go.

The Kick worked on a different mod, so it is not faulty.

I'm not familiar with that device.. Perhaps your switch needs tightened. Make sure there's good contact with the post when pressed. I just put my Kick in again to make sure, and it is working.. Hopefully, someone using one like yours in their MKB will be along..

Wow yea thats really really bad... He has pics on their FB page with an ithaka screwed onto it natively though so I'm really not worried. QC must have been better in later batches...

I have a knock off kick by Sigelei. It sucks... Never could get it fire at the wattage it was set to. My opinion is if you can't afford to get the real kick2 (because it goes up to 15 watts reliably) build sub ohm or micro coils. That works for me :)

Well I've searched to no avail, and now it's time to check with the experts. I'm having a problem with my Natilus. The coil is not working, and the only reason I can find is....I'm using 30g resistance kanthal, and 32g non-reisistance kanthal. So this brings me to something I've been wondering for a while. Is it OK to use different gauge R & NR on the coils for the Oddy's? Anyone know?

I've had no problem using 32 NR with 30 R but if you go below 30 on the resister wire it will be necessary to increase the size of the NR.
On my last Oddy build I made a coil with 28 gauge nichrome, it should have come out to around 0.7 ohms but because I was using 32 gauge nickel for NR it came out to 1.1 ohms. What I did was twist two pieces of 32 gauge nickel together for each leg, it worked great.
When I removed above problem coil I checked to make sure that was the problem, this was around three days ago, it really surprised me.

Do you have an ohm meter? If not Harbor Freight just about give them away, maybe $3 - 4

Yes, I've got an ohm meter, actually I have 2, the 2nd one I got free at Harbor Freight. I've been using my SVD to check ohms. It can be a problem at times because I have to switch the bases which puts wear and tear on the silica etc. I'll use the ohm meter. Thanks for the info. Actually I ran out of NR kanthal, I was using 32g nickel NR. I'll try twisting a couple of pieces.
