mod getting hot

Hello, after checking the problem, i come to a conclusion that the velocity rda is heating up super quick thus making my mod hot too. What is the problem and how do i solve this. Cheers!

How super quick? 'Cause most of my rda's are "you wouldn't want to touch this for too long" after a few long toots. It doesn't take much.

Gotta identify whether it's operating normally or if it's actually heating up faster than normal.

What is the build being used?
All I see is that it is .48ohms and from Kanthal. What gauge is the wire? how many coils? What type of coil? How and where are they mounted? Running air open or shut?

Velocity is a big deck with big holes, I can imagine quad claptons being run. But being too hot I'll assume single or dual build.

If you don't have a hot leg or something going. I think your just built too hot. Likely due to using too small a wire or too many volts being fed to the coil. Could be acnewbie not realizing that if you put a really hot heating coil inside a tiny metal chamber. That metal tends to get warm due to heat transferring from the hot coil to the metal of the atty. Do we have a problem here or a D'OH! moment?
