Several months ago I was gifted a IVP5 and it was miss cared for owner thought it was broken and a price of ....e. So I cleaned it up and fixed the gunk that was stuck in it causing it not to fire. Last night I said you know what I'm tired of this mod looking like garbage. I only have pictures of the good side with scratches and usage the other side was awful and very worn. So after 6 grits of sandpaper acetone (which didn't seem to worth after soaking for 45mins) and some aluminum mag polish with leather then a buffing pad by hand we have this. With my new TFV12 tank.

Love the tank and for anyone that wants one and doesn't like the red orings it came with black :) think blows clouds and flavor for days. Next up I will finish of polising the back and bottom and I'm contemplating coating it with a clear enamel or doing a metallic color with a clear coat. Suggestions are welcome. I can't wait to see what it turns out like.

To do the battery door and the top panel 2 hours. Hand sanding and polish.

Only 2 hours?? It makes me feel like pulling out a few mods and doing it even though the finish is OK< because that a beautiful look.

It really is. I was really surprised how it came out. It made my carple tunnel flair up but 2 hours for the battery door and the top. I still have the bottom and the other side along with the buttons to do.

Ohhhhh... shiny!!!

When you're finished a clear coat would be smexy.
Why mess with shiny perfection?

I was thinking a clear coat as well. Not sure why the manufacturers won't release them like that. Even when they offer "silver", it's always some finish that just off. This looks plain beautiful.

Yeah I'm not sure I think a mirror finish stock for some mods would be so dope. At this point I'll be able to do what I want with it anyways. If I get tired of it I can change it again lol.

That's a good job.

I sometimes think I should do the same, but truth is I'm hard on my mods, and they look abused, and even if I spent the time and effort to make them look nice and pretty it wouldn't last more than a week or so before they look beat up again.

I'm hard on my mods. REALLY hard.
