I tried mod rotation. They don't vape very well when upside down.

*chuckle*

In all seriousness, I have a dozen on my desk (and many many many more in the shelves). Mostly, I keep different mods paired with different tanks because they look good together. Then, I keep the different tanks filled with different flavors so I can grab any flavor I want as my mood and tastes vary.

I use Minifit pods at work and a larger mod everywhere else. I have a bunch of 18650 batteries and a bunch of AW 18490 batteries. I'll use a Provari until I've used all my 18490 batteries a couple of times, then I'll switch to a Pico 75 until I've used all the 18650s a couple of times.

Only if I let them set for a long time... like months... if they just set for a week or so, they're fine. A bit will depend on the environment. I imagine in a hot dry climate they'll gum faster than in a cool humid environment.

I've got at least 4 on the go every day, with my fave 4 mixes. Those 4 are my current fave bf mods. I change up the attys now and then. And occasionally switch out one fave mod for another
i would guess @DeloresRose would have 4 out too Ocd would kick in and all the extra mods go back in their boxes.:D

Funny story--but true. I just found my long-lost iStick 30 with GS tank on it from I really don't remember how long ago. Months. I used to grab it when I was going on short drives to grocery stores and such. I unscrewed the tank to check for seepage, wiped down the connections with isopropyl alcohol pads, screwed it back on the mod--and it worked! Had some violent gurgling at first, but they went away after a few drags.

I love my iStick.

To answer your OP, I think I have 3-4 mods in my daily rotation at all times. I never stock up on batteries. I buy what I need when I need them. Usually 4 or 6 at a time.

I just stay plugged in these days. Rarely rotate, if i do i plug it in. Cannot be bothered charging anymore, what's the point !?. Obviously unplug when not in use or if i take it out with me which is rare. So the batteries stay charged up all the time. If i do decide to switch to higher powered DTL (unlikely) mah won't matter either. I've got plenty of batteries but they don't see much action these days. I've been using the same two 18650's now for about six months and they aren't showing any signs of punking out, they still hold a charge perfectly well.
