Great choice and now recommendation, it offers best of both worlds its a mechanical and a regulated device.. It is the mod I had no idea, I have seen it advertised but never read the specs of its use.. Awesome!!!

So its a mechanical, and can be regulated like a kick with protection .. Wow amazed ....

1. From regulated voltage output mode to unregulated battery voltage voltage output:

Smoktech Gripper (mechanical). $16 (yes, that's not a typo).

If interested in this, be sure to get the Gripper Extender tube (bottom of description on website) for $3.50 to attach a tank. Uses an 18350 battery that should last several hours of heavy vaping; batteries are small enough to easily keep a couple spares handy should you need one. The smallest mod that I own and it hits nearly as hard as any of them. Smoktech VV Gripper (variable voltage). $43.

Adjust the voltage from 3.0 - 6.0 volts. Built-in ohm and voltage meters. Takes an 18650 high drain IMR battery for all day use or more. Small enough to fit in a front shirt pocket; rubberized plastic body. SMOKtech Gripper VV 3.0-6.0 18650 Variable 510 OLED [gv-SMOKtechGripperVV] - $42.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Segelei Ovale V8 (variable voltage). $30.

Adjust the voltage from 3.0 - 6.0 volts. Built-in ohm and voltage meters. Takes two 18350 high drain IMR batteris for all day use or more. The larger of the mods I'm showing here, yet still can fit in a front shirt pocket; rubberized plastic body. Better parts and construction than the above Smok VV Gripper. Leather lanyard case available for $9. Sigelei V8 Incremental VV Body - Black Rubberized

AltSmoke BB (mechanical). $85.

Built of thick aircraft-grade aluminum; strong as a tank but light as a feather. This mod will still be around working when the others have bit the dust. Multiple colors. Takes a 14500 battery of either a protected or IMR type for several hours of vaping; battery is the same size as a AA battery. I have a black one and gave my daughter a pink one for her birthday as her first mod; I'm picking up a purple one today that will be used as her backup. AltSmoke.com - The BB - Starter Kits

I own all of the above mods. I think any of them would be appropriate. But I have one more to show which is getting more and more of my daily attention. See below in my next post...

I love the gripper, it's one of my mods of choice, shame I use mostly clearos. Also, when I put a tank on I feel something wiggles inside, as if it were loose

My portable vape is the evic in 18350 mode of my avatar. I've been searching for an affordable telescoping tube for it, to no avail. I found just this one, more expensive than the eVic itself.

With this and an 18500 (around 1200 mAh) you'd have a compact, all day long vape. Or, carry extra 18350 for longer vapes.

I know the itaste mvp box mod was brought up early on, but I have that, and an itaste vv 3.0 which I get a full day out of, and seems to be alot sturdier than the ego batts. I would recommend the itaste vv 3.0, Or, smoktech box mod, (only 20 bucks a great price) with a 14500 batt, I get a full day out of that easy and its pretty damn stealthy, and the batteries are small enough should you happen to burn it up in less than a day you could just carry an extra 14500 on you charged and swap out.
