I waited for months for a Smartvapes altoid mod to be in stock, so when it was available I jumped. But there was a couple things I just didn't like about it. One, no on/off switch, and second, I had an lcd that showed the output V, and it was on every time you pushed the button. Seemed like a waste of the battery and a waste of a perfectly good LCD.
So I added an on/off switch in the top corner between the battery + and the fire button, and wired in a switch on the bottom that allows me to shut off the lcd completely, also flip between the battery voltage and the output voltage. Now it is pretty much perfect IMHO.
