yeah no, i'm just... I'm unemployed due to health problems, with no income.. so, collecting mods has been a struggle for me from the very beginning of my vaping. but, I struggle and I scrape and save, and when I really really want a new mod, I wind up with it... it may take me 5 months to save $50, but it's all worth it when that mod gets to my mailbox & I open it up & enjoy it. :) I loveee collecting. I have a ton of cheap mods that are now all broken and messed-up -- but the mods that I save-up for (my provari, my reo) have absolutely nothing wrong w/ them! I know that Chel's mods are the exact same way. Love them so much.

They're very different animals from Provi & Reo. They're very much artisan, much the way of the Billet Box, but I'm not sure they yet share the same constant reliability & support as the three aforementioned ones.

It appears they're working towards that though, which pleases me tremendously. Points for effort, with more to be granted at achievement.

Marvelous mods, no doubt, when they're working well. My much-traveled SS one has been an absolute workhorse since it's last flight, but that's only been a couple of months. I've got Provis that have been going strong for four years, with absolutely no signs of fatigue. Billet Boxes with two years, also still going STRONG. I don't have Reos, but that's just because I need variable (wattage, voltage, no matter). They're also great from what I can see, for those who can use them.

All that being said, I am very hopeful that both XvoSticks will be here four years from now, in much the same vein.

I LOVE your mods, Chels!! Holy cow are they beautiful. If i had the cash, I would buy the little mechanical MicroStick right now! I will definitely keep the MicroStick and XvoStick in my heart and on my mind. I'm always looking to expand my vapeocalypes gear, and my mod collection, sitting on top of my vapeocalypes underpants side-table-drawer... I hope to someday, own some higher quality mods, and, yours have definitely jumped from unknown, to the TOP of my want list. Absolutely beautiful mods, Chels. You are definitely an artist, & an innovator, and I think anyone would be very lucky to own one of your perfect little pocket devices.

I love the MicroSticks. I had three of them at one time and used them in my daily vape routine. Now I'm down to one. Two have broken/stopped working and I sent one back for repair and it got lost in the mail and the other one is shorting and I can't get the 510 connector out of it. Might have got a year and a half usage out of them, though a mech mod should last longer than that, IMO.

I have to agree with DP, until this company gets their customer service together, I'd avoid them. Good thing you won't be buying a device from them any time soon. We can only hope things get better with communication with them as they have products that are unique.

It appears that Mini IS making strides toward better communication. Altho right now as it stands, I would recommend thinking long and hard before purchasing from them.

Our little misadventures with the Xvo that traveled the world and back was enuf to warrant saying this.

Thank you @LittleDonkey. You are making some good changes.

Perhaps, perhaps not. I remain sceptical for now.

Thank you for the kind words. Sure, I'll transfer them to Chels. It is really important for him, and for all of us to get such responces.

Can't say anything about other products, but the number of complains about quality of our mods is low. If anything goes wrong, we try to help. The actual reviews of our customers are available in the store and we never edit or remove them.

No argument there at all, Eugenia. Efforts were made, without a doubt. But time truly came into play to a much larger degree that some of us have experienced with the other vendors that were mentioned.

And, to be clear, you ultimately DID make things right for me. If it were that bad, I'd not have opted to keep the two mods that I purchased. In the end, I am satisfied.

But to compare Mini to ProVape or Reo, who (often) literally ship out new mods upon contact (in similar situations), it's simply not a good comparison to make. Not at THIS time, at least.

I'll admit to being surprised by the number of people who popped up, stating previous issues, AFTER I went public with mine. Kat and I had done a lot of research prior to buying, and one of the main factors for us was that there were VERY FEW complaints. It was somewhat disheartening to see that people starting appearing AFTER the fact.

Again, all in all, and as I've clearly stated both here on ECF, and to you via the many emails we exchanged, I am VERY happy with both mods, and with the end results. But four months is a LONG time for issues to get fully resolved.

I'm thrilled with the strides you're making, and believe that future customers may benefit from the experiences. That alone makes it worth it.

It was also nice to see the compliments that Plumes gave you, many of which I agree 100% with. But Plumes is an aspiring customer, not yet an actual one. You'll have fully "arrived" when your existing customer base, particularly those who have experienced problems, have NOTHING but positive things to say about you. THAT is what sets companies like ProVape apart.

Your recent recurring presence here is going a long way to giving many people comfort. You (personally) are representing the company very well, and I hope you continue to do these things. The knowledge that someone is here to listen and help will definitely help you gain customers who may have been on the fence before. People just want to know that they'll be taken care of, quickly and effectively, if they have a problem with their investments.

I'm glad that I decided to stick it out with you. And there's not a mod out there that I'd trade either of my Xvo's for. It IS that good.

I'll continue to watch what Mini does, and it's highly probable that I'll be a recurring customer, somewhere down the line. I would like to believe that, and do have faith that it will come to be. So, for all of your efforts, I sincerely thank you. :)

Strive to be even better, because you can be.

I am reporting back that I received my replacement MS yesterday !! The finish is actually better than the other 2 I have....very smooth and dark black!! The only items missing was the spare screws which I should be fine, there was a spare spring though!! Thanks for the efforts and sending this out to me in just a couple weeks!! I will need to explore some other attys other than the spheroid which is what I primarily use in the micro stick!! Any suggestions??
Thanks Mods by Chels for making this sidelined customer happy!! Happy New Year to all!!

Honestly DPL with all the information that has been floating around lately it's a shame to say I'm not surprised. They continue you to tell me it's because of Christmas the package was delayed. I can't begin to tell you how many out of county packages I have received (with good tracking information) since placing this order.

I sent an e-mail today asking for a full refund or a replacement shipped expedited since I have wait so long. I also forwarded a copy of this request to PayPal.

This mod better be worth the price and the hassle. Now I see why the Plumes continue to talk so poorly about the company and recommend not purchasing directly but going through Vapin Art. If I ever receive mine I think I will adopt their name for it.

I love the small form factor of the MicroSticks but I had three of them and two broke after using them for several months. Might want to find out if Vapin Art takes these in for repair and/or will sell the parts to fix. Good luck.

I know your frustration too well, Marc, and it's flooding it all back for me.

The mod is awesome, if it holds up.

If these break down on me, I'll sell them to a modder for a song. I won't deal with the hassles.

I've put Provari, Billet Box & EPM (all less costly) through ringers, and you can't make those things stop. If the Xvo isn't up to the task, I won't spend time wrestling with it. I'd hope, at its price, that it can at least keep pace with my CFIVs. I guess time will tell (and I'm working them hard).

What exactly broke? I have a microstick.

Both the ones that broke, I can't remove the 510 connector. The first one, not sure what happened, just stopped firing. Since I had two at the time, I was able to exchange parts and the only piece I couldn't change was the 510 connector. I attempted to send it back for repairs but it got lost in the mail. The second one started overheating. I'm sure there's a short some near or in the 510 connector but no one can get the connector off. I've had several people try using different methods including a vise and a gp fork on a drill and it won't move. My third one is still working and I can remove the 510 connector on it so I'll use the parts on the broken one if I need to. Too expensive and difficult to work with customer service to send it back.

Thanks Susan, man that sucks MicroSticks were not exactly cheap either. :(

ETA I would try some freeze thaw cycles with heat applied to the body around the 510. Hair drier or torch, the aluminum will conduct heat faster than the brass and could break it loose.

Good thinking, Woofer.

Susan - it's worth a shot, yes?
