Well . . I was definitely joking (although it's true that the ms isn't so stealthy when you're actually using it). But it's not just the atty . .it's also the fire button. This is a *loud* fire button and no matter how lightly I press it there is always a distinct, loud "click". Seriously . .I actually do a lot of stealthing in bathrooms at offices I visit and the image of me using my microstick in the stall next to somebody else is just hilarious. It would literally sound like the guy in the stall next to you is welding car parts or something.

But that's not a complaint . .I dig the performance of the microstick and I use ego's to stealth vape in bathrooms.

Your button makes noise?? After you said that, I tried it, and there IS a very soft click, but it's far softer than say flicking a lighter. Now if I'm careful pushing it down, I can do it in complete silence. Then the only noise is sucking the air through my atomizer. If you build a nano coil, and then use cotton balls and make a small 'hat' over it, even the air hiss is muted. But as others have said... you can't hide the plumes of vapor:p.

I'm wondering if maybe there's something different about your button?? Maybe try noalox or a drop or 2 of oil on the spring? If you are using AW 18350 batteries, they sit pretty high up, and the spring is reasonably tight so there's resistance when you push on the button... if you push gently, it's pretty quiet...

How often do you take it apart and clean it?

Taking apart the switch and cleaning it doesn't really work.

I think I know how to fix it. I need to sand down the center post in the switch. I don't know if I'm up to doing it though.

Guess I'll just live with one of my microsticks being sticky....

I am thinking a 15mm XL IBTanked carto tank and a Sophia to go with this. However, I may also explore the other atties others here are using. I got some time to figure it out....

For now I've just been using it with an Aspire Mini Nova.
Works great.

Still deciding on what kind of rebuildable to get for it.
I like this pic because it looks like I have gigantic hands. But actually they are quite small.

Nice! Im waiting patiently for an MS...well that's not the most truthful thing ive said, but it's gonna be awhile so I'm searching for the "poor mans" Spheroid! BTW thanks for all your pics really makes my patient waiting easier! not! but seriously I like all the pics:p

Just buy the real thing, it's worth every penny.

I hear ya Chad, but I have to wait until I become re-employed for sure. How long do you get from that polyfill? Just take apart, rinse, and go new flavor?

I use the good stuff that GP sells , the piece in my Spheroid is about 6 weeks old now and will easily hit 10 weeks I think.

Do you just rotate them, or do u have a favorite?

There's a few others that aren't in the pic, Caravela, Magneto etc, but most of them just sit on the shelf.
It's a wonder why I even buy them. What do they call it, shinyitus?

The two that I do use regularly are the Microstick, which I take to work most days and when I'm out and about, and the Vaporshark DNA with a Kayfun when I'm at home.

Grats ! Nice to know.

Thanks~ Feels great to be able to use it again :D

I wasn't able to narrow down the previous issue after all the tests done & Mini-ecig didn't know what the problem was either so they replaced the connectors. Helpful, fast & hassle-free, they're definitely a joy to deal with. I was never rough with my microstick, but without knowing where it went wrong previously, I guess I'll be handling mine like an egg for the time being

Hey Chels, have you considered making a version of the Microstick with a high quality injection molded polymer body instead (think Magpul)? It could greatly reduce time for production runs and perhaps allow you to sell that version for less, which I'm guessing would sell like crazy. It would also be lighter. You could also do them in different colors.
