Doesn't bother me in the slightest. If you think that's scratched, you should see my Penelope! But then, that doesn't bother be either...
As you say - they live In their MicroSicks, and they work perfectly - that's what matters...

That's an old picture of my Spheroid. Eventually there was a solid ring around it. I ended up giving it a brushed finish, and just refresh it once a month or so. I agree, performance is what counts!

I have a Spheroid, but I don't have an ADV, and I am always changing flavors.
So, ... I just use my mini protank with an 510/510 adapter on it.
Doesn't take long to go through 2 ml, rinse and change flavors.
I only have to do it about once a day, as I have 7 other mods going with different flavors along with it.
Works great, and the mini is a perfect fit
I grab it for "stealth" trips.

So glad I got it to fire ,, thanks to the help I got here ..lov'in it now

Help Please

I got my MiniStick a couple of months ago, and I tried to use it tonight for the first time.
I have a show to do later this month, and I bought it to be "stealth" while there, so that I don't have to go hide in the restroom anymore.

I threw in a fresh 18350, added an adapter to a mini protank, screwed it in and ... nothing...won't fire.

Removed the mini and tried it on a spinner .. fired right off.
Put it back in the stick ... nothing.

I tried loosening the screw under the cap a tiny bit, incase it wasn't connecting, screwed it back in, ...nothing ...won't fire.
I switched over to a different type tank (still using the extender), same story .. no go.
Swapped batteries, (no it wasn't upside down, and yes, it is a button top) wiped all the connections off, tried again .. still won't fire.
Checked the second tank on the spinner, (with adapter still on) ..fired right off.

I can't figure out why it doesn't work.
Two batteries, and two tanks, that all work on other equipment, so there's nothing wrong with them.
I bought it from Chels site, brand new, after months of waiting, and now I've had it long enough (I guess) that it's too late to complain.
I was saving it for this upcoming event, as that's what I bought it for, ...I should of tried it out when I first got it :censored:

Oh, and I bought the extension and spare parts at the same time, ... and the extension is another problem.
I thought maybe I could get it to work with an 18500.
I take the screws out, and the bottom is flush .. nothing to get ahold of to pull it off .. couldn't push it out either.
So I gave up on that idea ...

It's such a simple device, and I'm really stymied.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem is, I would really appreciate some info
Otherwise, I'll be throwing about $200 in the trash, if I can't figure it out.
Didn't even get 1 puff, let alone the fact that I fell in love with it

Went through any and all video's I could find, looking for help/answers, to no avail.
Defiantly not a happy camper right now .. so please .. any idea's ??????

Glad I'm not the only one.. Had mine for a month, but have been busy and finally had some time to play with... Even after reading the bulletins, I still can't get mine to fire... I am trying it with the extender (both bought at the sane time), I'm waiting on a 18350, to try it without, but for now it's a paperweight

OK, there is a screw at the bottom of the battery chamber, where the spring is.
You need to take the bottom off to get to it.
Give it (loosen) 1/2 a turn, and see if that works.

I'm glad your extender works.
My MS from what I hearing, came from a bad, or flubbed batch.
You have to literally use tools to pry the bottom off.
Then we had to hammer it back in, so the extender I bought was a waste of money since I can't use it.
It won't fit since the opening on the bottom is where the mistake occurred in the batch.
I'm just lucky I don't have to take the bottom off to change the battery.

They asked me for the ID # last week, but I haven't heard anything back
I doubt very seriously they are going to trade units, or take the extender I can't use back, but it would sure be nice if they made it good.
I hope you get it to fire ... I know how you feel :(

It should work with/without the extender just the same. The only difference there being the short or long positive pin. Oh, and the longer screws.
But the principle is just the same.
Do you have any pics? Particularly of where the 510 screws to the body? Remember there were some issues where the black insulating material had been over-applied to areas - where it shouldn't. So stopping an electrical circuit being made...
If you do remove the 510 and can see that is is not earthing properly, a quick scrape to remove some of that anodising that might be stopping the 510 from earthing to the body. Make sure all the threads are clean.
One last thought. I only heard of this once before, that the positive pin might be just a little short. If you were unfortunate enough to have a pin that's too short, then again - no circuit...
But - a non-earthing 510 connector seems most likely...

Try checking your spam folder if you haven't. They responded to me, when I thought they hadn't but it was in spam...did you send the message through mini-ecig.com?

sidenote: can anyone tell me how to quote separate pieces of a post?

The correspondence took place right here on the thread (back a page or two).
Please explain exactly what your trying to do with the posts, and I'll see if I can help tomorrow .. to late right now and you're probably not up anyway :p

Slots, for example where I quoted one small piece of your post, in my previous post Id like to know how to put that same piece in the blue quotations with "originally posted by Slots" at the top. Does that make sense? Thanks

OK ... when you first start out and click "reply to post", it opens your reply box
Now take a look at the message that shows up.
At the beginning of it is ..
You can delete anything in-between those two, but they have to stay at the beginning and end or it won't show up in the "blue" box.

Give it a try.
If it doesn't work, check to make sure you didn't accidently leave part of it out.
(Please note above, that in demonstrating, I had to eliminate the "]" bracket at the end of
because when I included it, my answer to you showed up in a blue box

Sometimes when I'm deleting parts of posts I don't feel are relevant, I'll accidently delete too much as they don't leave much spacing before or after them.
In that case, hit edit, and go back in and re-type it back in.

Also, if you want to include more than one persons post in your reply, click the little box in the bottom right corner next to the "reply with quote", and it will tag all the posts you click on.
Then when your ready to actually reply, ....at the last post you wish to answer, hit the "reply with quote" and they will all appear in your reply box.
Hope this answer's your question.

Can't wait. :) Any ideas how long shipping to the UK normally takes?

While I'm here, can anyone recommend some 18350 and 18500 batteries? I'm used to VTC4's and VTC5's and have no experience with the smaller ones.

AW IMR is the only battery that I will run in any of my gear. But you've got to watch out as there are so many clones of the batteries. I've gotten burned on ebay with copies.

    AW IMR should be ok.

    Shipping to EU is unstable.
75% of orders arrive in 1-2 weeks
20% of orders arrive in 3 weeks
5% of orders arrive in 4-6 weeks
