Microstick is here! Woohoo! I hope it brought me something from its trip to Disney in Florida.
MicroSticks are available for pre-orders!
This time we have many products available for pre-orders at once:
- MicroSticks
- Extenders
- Hamoriko SS
- MiniGen SS and MiniGen Ti
For Hamoriko this is the first full run. We will make only 50 items. Hopefully we'll see soon what is the feedback on it.
There is no deadline for the current run. We will ship items within 45 days after the payment date. If the current run will be sold, we will start the next one in parallel. If we will feel that we are overloaded, we will stop accepting new orders for a while.
The previous run was shipped at once and according to the request from Israel post we had to group orders by countries. We will not do this anymore. Instead, we will send orders in the order of payment in 45 days after the payment. This way we will avoid overload for us and for the post office.
So hurry up! The 45 days run starts after the payment date.
P.S. Those who subscribed for stock update have got an e-mail notification a bit earlier.

You're lucky! Mine has departed Garden City, NY since the 13th. I just hope all is well...I've had a few bad experiences with sticky fingered courriers in the past.
Congrats Kat...not jealous man (maybe just a lil). I have a 3rd Spheroid (ordered today) just for my Microstick. Was it a breeze to take it apart to clean?
I've had mine for a couple of days now and just love it. I haven't had a chance to set up my Mini Gen yet and probably won't until next week...but the Spheroid works awesome. It's just so darn cute...and stealthy. I also have the extender which I haven't tried yet. Thank You Little Donkey for an awesome device.
Yes, i even took the bottom piece off, but you will need a tiny hex wrench for that - not really needed, there was nothing to clean in there, I was just poking around. Definitely scrub everything down with some 99% iso, there was a bit of machine oil from the CNC, especially in the 510 connector - as with all new devices.

Hey guys. What batteries are you all using in your microsticks? Only one of my four efest imrs actually fit. By fit, I mean slide into the battery section without needing to push it down.
Do aw imrs fit any better?

I only use the aw imrs. All of mine (8) fit fine. I have heard that the efests can vary a bit in diameter...

Just found out about the MicroStick a few days ago through another thread. I'm glad I was able to order one from this next round. Now I just have to wait 45 days. Can't wait! This looks like an awesome little mod!
I've been using the Microstick for two days now with Spheroids. Spectacular little device. And I mean little.
One question. I try to flick the locking mechanism open and closed without applying any pressure when it reaches the open or closed point. Sometimes, though, when I lock the firing button, the knob can tighten a bit on the base, and when I try to unlock it, the whole switch starts to unscrew, instead of just the locking ring. I then have to unscrew part way to get enough leverage to separate the two.
Is this normal because it is new? Should I be applying any kind of lubricant to the screw and base to avoid this?

This is a common problem.
First you will get used to it soon, so this will not bother you in a week.

It doesn't bother me at all, just wanted to make sure I hadn't done anything wrong.
The great thing is, even if you leave the lock ring half a turn loose, before it touches the bottom, it stays in place. So, in fact, I just need to get rid of my OCD need to go 100% open and closed, and flick it to just shy of touching the bottom.
I experienced the same little nuance. LittleDonkey is right, you get used to it quick. My issue is more that the lock ring has become a nice little fidget device for me and I always seem to be locking and unlocking over and over while I am doing other things. Sooner or later I keep turning and the switch comes loose. Not a flaw of the device at all, just my apparent need to fidget with things constantly...
