Mine always works with the 350's but the 490 was to short so had to add the nylon washer. You taken it apart and cleaned all the connection points?

I haven't thoroughly washed them but the are (seem) pretty clean
Use ISO? And polish ?

Is the 510 connector in the ms adjustable ?

I have a feeling my problem is related to that ??

Remove the bottom of the Microstick. You will see a brass strip that takes power from the battery to the 510. Make sure it's clean and dry. The 510 connector is removable. There are two indentations. I used needle nosed pliers in those dents to unscrew the connection. It may be reverse threaded; I can't remember for sure. Take it out and clean it well. Reassemble everything and try it again. Make sure the bottom is on tight so the brass strip is making proper contact. If it still won't fire, take off the bottom, and loosen the 510 connector just a little; like less than a quarter turn. Reinstall the bottom and give it a go.

I am watching a video and shows the indentations from the top. Mine are underneath the bottom plate and are impossible to unscrew with my nn pliers. Is it really tight. my serial num is 1249, did the indentations change to the bottom?

I've pondered if that was even slightly adjustable , I want my GP logo to show through the window in the front of the micro stick lol. For now I'm just leaving it alone.

What is the thing about needing a magnet for the extender? Is it still like that or was that for an older model? I saw it somewhere here in the threads but cant seem to find it now.

I've got the latest model and I bought the extender as well.
I tried a few different batteries before I found one that fits just right, without the need for a magnet.

These are the ones I tried...

Efest 18500 button top 1500 mAh. Too long.
AW 18490 button top 1100 mAh. Too short.
Efest 18500 button top 1100 mAh. Perfect fit, without magnet.

Hello, can anybody give some advice on troubleshooting my ms not firing. Have aw imr 18350 batteries. I also have the extension...Was working for a week and just stopped?.??? I need to get a multi meter in guess and see if it reads , but my kayfun mini is firing on my other mods. Could be a 510 connection problem, but cannot access this area on the ms...
Anybody having this problem... Seems as tho mention but not a definite diagnosis of the problem.
Have a spheroid on the way and seriously missing my ms awesomeness...

I've experienced the very same issue after 5 days of use some time back. Under the helpful guidance of folks in this thread and with the mini-ecig team via email, I tried to find out the cause of it but couldn't. In the end, I sent mine back to to mini-ecig for repair. Now I'm microstickless and waiting yet again with bated breath for its return. Do email mini-ecig directly with your order number as you'll get a response fastest this way. They're a great company to deal with & I hope you get yours sorted out soon too.

I ask these questions only because I don't know the answers ; have you owned other mechs and do you understand how a mech mod works ? By virtue of how mech mods are built they can't really 'stop working' without being damaged in some way. If you have a multimeter it's very easy to see where you connection is being lost.

Maybe LD should make a video on these known issue fixes

I got the 510 connector to pop out so it is definitely there just got to find the sweet spot
Some progress anyways

Multimeter will take away the assemble/dissemble fiddling I'm hoping , just have to buy one , which will be today ...

I have 3 Spheroids. Two of these worked perfectly on the MS, the third one would not fire on the MS. All three fired properly on every other mod I own. I had slightly stripped threads on the third Spheroid. This seemed to be a problem for the MS only. I replaced the 510 base of the Spheroid, and now it works on the MS as well.

I had slightly stripped threads on the third Spheroid. This seemed to be a problem for the MS only. I replaced the 510 base of the Spheroid, and now it works on the MS as well.

I need to figure out if it is 510 on kfm is not touching ms 510 or..

I am going to get a multimeter to see if there is a bad connection somewhere on ms

Otherwise it's an atty prob but need to use the process of elimination to first rule out connectivity of the ms

Hopefully that will work , we will see

Yeah nothing is working , I am sending it to mini ecig for repair .... Turnaround will be slow

Guess a problem with the 510 in the ms

I have tried to push on the brass pin to make sure it connects with the brass strip in the bottom plate but no go . Mini ecig said if that doesn't work then probably a problem they need to fix...

I need a break from my ms....not

Everything will be free so it is what it is
