Same site, different card. I was told the problem had been taken care of, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered more of my favorite juice from them.
Use a different card from the first one that had fraud charges on it, since that one was obviously cancelled. Now there are fraud charges on the second card from a different issuer.
I don't care what they say anymore, I will not be purchasing from these folks again. Too bad they couldn't get it taken care of right the first time cause I am sure they will lose many customers this way.

OK time to search for a new favorite juice I guess..

OK folks. Have talked with card company again.. The second card was also used to purchase from this site BEFORE the fraud started as well as AFTER the fraud activity was supposed to be taken care of. So the breach could have taken place before they said they had fixed the problem. So the problem with the site may very well be fixed now. BUT, it is still two cards now that have been compromised for me, so I have to make some decisions for myself.

I really want everyone to know that I am not trying to blame anything on the site or its owners, and hopefully this will just make people aware to be very very careful and do whatever it takes to protect yourself...

Be careful out there kiddos........

What I do know is this CC fraud when buying ecig related stuff on your credit card is getting or has got way out of control.

What I do know is if I purchased from vendor "xyz" that I suspect that their CC processor has been compromised or any link before or after the CC processor I will not buy from them again.

What I do know is that I have 4 credit cards and only one of them I use for only ecig related stuff and that is the only card that has had fraud on it (actually changed my Discover Card 2 times, the original Discover card and two more new Discover cards). The other three credit cards I never buy ecig stuff with.

What I do know is that other three cards I own (Amex, Visa and Mastercard) I buy things on line (using my computer) often (no ecig stuff) and have never had CC fraud on them. One of the cards I've owned for over 20 years. I purchase many computer parts and other things with them quite often.
In my mind this pretty much eliminates the possiblility that the fraud had originated from faulty security from my computer (key loggers etc....)

What I do know is that when I purchase ecig related stuff overseas (and a few places here in the USA) using Paypal I've never had fraudulant Paypal charges.

What I do know is that I will only use Paypal to buy ecig related stuff. This means that the great majority of my ecig stuff will be purchased overseas since overseas Paypal is allowed for ecig related purchases.

I wish I have some recommendation to make the fraud situation better when purchasing ecig related stuff with a CC but I don't.
Other than:
I would like to see Paypal and the larger well established CC processors allow ecig related purchases here in the USA.

see if your credit card company has a shopsafe or virtual CC #

I always get a virtual # (citibank) when I order and there can't be a problem because the citibank virtual # can only be used once. it takes just a few minutes to generate the number

I wish more banks would offer this. Mine doesn't, however they did offer to set me up a small secondary account that I could keep a nominal amount in and then transfer whatever amount I need into it from my main account when ordering. It's a good option and faster/easier/cheaper than a pre-paid card.

Yes these were not bank cards that I used. They were Visa and MCs from well known CC companies, and actually THEY contacted ME about the fraudelent charges before it got too out of control. (Great service in my opinion) Just stinks cause now I do not have the use of the card til a new one is issued.

Seriously glad that i did NOT use a debit card, cause I doubt my bank would give a crap.

Prepaid card. They won't have access to your bank account, and you alone determine how much is loaded on the card. Can't take your money if it's not there.

I got my prepaid card through Fifth Third. Free, no fees. I already had a checking account with them, the prepaid card was a free option the bank suggested after I got hit.

Last I checked there were fees associated with having a card and secondary account with my bank. I could x-fer between accounts to load it easily though. It turned out that the Walmart card is 3.00 per month which was less expensive at the time. Also 3.00 fee every time you load it but I don't do purchases for e-cig stuff every month...so it was less $$$$$ that way.

Anyway...whatever you do...I'd suggest the above pre-paid idea...however it's implemented. They can't take it if it's not there, like Rocketpunk said. Don't leave a big balance on it, just a month or two's fees to keep it open. Figure out what all your purchases are for the day ahead of time, load the card, and buy...leaving extra on it if you need to (depending on the card). Also see all the stuff in the 101 link above.
