Had fraud charges on the first card I used with AVE. the card was cancelled. The site stated the problem was taken care of. Purchased again from AVE with a different card from a different provider. 4 charges in the last 2 days that were not mine. Going to look for a new juice to be my go to vape. Good luck in the future AVE. Hopefully you don't lose ALL your customers because of this.

Well other people are using other vendors, with similar results, so it's not just AVE.

Many states have a "security breach law" which requires businesses to notify the Office of the Attorney General.

My bank is issuing me another card, and they have some kind of reporting system. They did note that all of the purchases were ecig related.

I imagine there are quite a few banks and card issuers, as well as their fraud protection teams, already tracking these breaches.

Since there are so few CC processors who will even deal with the ecig business, I don't imagine that will be a good outcome. If I were a vendor right now, I would be furious, and asking my processor exactly how their security is set up. I would not be able to stay in business this way.

I don't doubt what you say. However, I'm curious as to why CC processors wouldn't deal with e-cig companies. It can't be because they don't feel right supporting a business like this. I think bakers would deal with street corner crack dealers if it were legal . . anything for a buck. Is this industry especially prone to CC fraud?

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Dealing with CC fraud has to be a major pain. I'll start looking closely at my own CC transactions now.

I had a call from my CC vendor today saying they blocked my card because of suspicious transaction. Turned out there were several fraudulent transactions made in about 1000 Euros/1300 USD total. That is almost one and half of my monthly salary. The only company I can think of loosing my data is AVE because I have not used the card recently anywhere else.
This is big bummer. I am done with AVE forever.
