I accidentally dropped my Provari yesterday into a small set of river rapids. It immediately disappeared and after 20~ minutes of searching I couldn't find it.
After 16+ hours I went back out today and my buddy spotted it after about 5 minutes of hand searching through the rocks. Pulled it out, sun dried (it was 105F here today which is way above normal) and tested with a different battery....the bugger fired up immediately.
I ruined a Boge XL, an AW 18650 (I think) and about 1.5mL of flavorless nicotine. But the relief of finding it and it working still, beyond amazing.
I've ripped through just about every model of the Casio water/shock proof phones that claim a much higher standard than the Provari. Too many nice flashlights have met their demise. I'm clearly clumsy but the Provari doesn't care.
