In 1 mo, 1 week:

Well over 2K. That's all V4L.

"Let me fall out of the window
With confetti in my hair,
Deal me jacks or better
On a blanket by the stair
I'll tell you all my secrets
But I'll lie about my past
So send me off to bed forever more..."

(That's a Tom Waits verse that I tend to sing when I do excessive things.
Great song.)

I decided to go back through and add up my orders. I spent a little over $500 in 6 weeks. But I have enough juice to last for almost two months if decided to quit buying and forced myself to vape some of the lousy stuff I bought to just check out. I am slowing down now....it's getting out of hand and want to start saving the no-cigarette windfall instead of blowing it. ;)

Okay, starting to feel less insane.

I really do think (hope) once you decide on your equipment and get your flavors down it gets better.

Of course by the time that fully happens V4L will probably introduce the rumored VK1 and/or VK2 and who am I to not support one of the most dedicated companies in the e-cig world . . . I mean it would criminal of me not to purchase :)

Forget the "savings" from not buying tobacco cigarettes for a moment.

A three pack a day smoker until I started using e-cigs, I figure whatever the cost of e-cigs, it has got to be less than the cost Chest X-rays and the much higher cost of being told "I have very bad news for you..."

A friend let me try her Joye 510. I found it produced good flavors, great throat hit and chest-satisfying vapor.

Yeah the batteries don't run long, but the answer to that is to get devices with bigger batteries.

So I got a Silver Bullet, two Bartlebies and four adapters.

I am a Yank who lives in a lovely part of Mexico where e-cig supplies are not reasonably available. That fact caused me to order a six month supply: a major stash of 510 atomizers, some 801 atomizers, a few 901 atomizers, a bunch of carts, a selection of cartomizers, a wide variety of tobacco juices and a range of non-tobacco juices. For DIY mixing: PG, VG, ECOpure at various nicotine levels down to zero, and flavoring agents. I also ordered spare protected batteries for the SB and the Bartlebies, and a Pila IBC four-step charger.

To pay it forward, I also bought a couple of Joye 510s with a mess of their little batteries and accessories to return the favor and pass on the Good E-Cig News!

Total cost so far: $786.73

PS I know there are e-cigs that look like cigarettes. In an increasingly rabid anti-smoking world, it occurs to me that last thing I want to have in my hand (in public) is something that looks like a cigarette! That is just begging to get us banned further. My preferred public vaping package should look like an asthmatic's inhaler, maybe with a little adjustable speaker that could make that hideous whooshing sound... No mall-cop would then say "Sir you can't take your medicine here."
:)

I also take into consideration this:

I take 20 bucks out of the bank machine. Theres usually a dollar fee for that, so make it 21.00. Buy two packs of smokes, so you can save a quarter. Makes it 12 dollars. That money in my pocket thats left is whittled away on coffee, soda or whatnot during the day.

I don't spend that change in my pocket now either, so the savings add up even more.

I own about enough sideshos, along with individual battaries, carts, attys and every accessory they carry for it etc. to make any color combo I want. Add 1 510 kit from cignot (had to see what all the fuss was about and it was cheap enough), along with extended life battery, extra attys, and extra carts. Then saw a copper 510, have one on the way from Vapor Station now. A load of juice, probably about $300.00 worth. Now, just ordered a couple of sidesho kits for my parents, more juice from Ms. T and Johnson Creek to get them started and I'm trying to hold off until the new colors of 902's from Modern Vapor come out later this month. I don't really want to add it all up. But you know what, I'm not smoking analogs and the expression on my daughters face when I quit, priceless :)

Well, i read on ecigs for about 6 months before actually diving in. I spent hours and hours reading, watching hours of vids, getting led from ecig to ecig, claiming to be the best, different, cheaper, higher quality, easier etc. ha ha. Did a ton of research and glad i did, because it led me to Vapor4Life.

So my first month i spent around 120.00$, that was to get me started and keep me going a few weeks. I would usually spend 114.00$ a month on Bugler at about 3.80$ per day per pouch. A regular cart lasts me about a day. So just monthly on carts i probably spend around 60$-70$.

That is heavy spending keeping the cigarette cravings at bay. I rolled my own for almost 11-12 years, so i kind of need to vape a little heavy right now as i have been at this for a solid month now. The worst is over, i cheated on day 2, nothing after that and i have already went down from 18mg to 11mg and am satisfied. So i assume within 2 months i'll spend around 40$ a month on carts, even less if i refill. So really, Vapor4Life is going to be saving me about 80$ a month, oh yeah, and most importantly my damned life. Thumbs up V4L.

When I got serious I spent about 5000 in 1 month from Janty, puresmoker, njoy, totally wicked, Loong Totem, Ruyan, absolute, electromic cigarettes, m401, m201, as well as best ecig, eastmall, et, et......

Best money I ever spent(cause I quit smoking), but, was screwed by a few, who did not honor their warrantee's, charged restocking fee's, as well as refusing to =warranteee past a few days

When I finally dicovered the VK, I decided, NOONE would ever get screwed again:D

Enjoy vaping, my Family

This explains a lot. There is good customer service, and there is great customer service. Then above that is V4L. Honestly, I've been around, and the commitment to keep people 'smilin' is insane. Not only promptly fixing defects and mistakes (they DO happen, no way around that), but actually listening to what their customers want. And more importantly, reacting to that and evolving their products to get better and better.

Hats off to you Steve, I'm sure you are well aware, you could make A LOT more money if you went to a 15 day warranty with RMAs, and didn't have a full time employee in China working to make things better, and just slapped your logo on a generic product, and a million other little things.

THANK YOU for not doing that. Next time I'm in Chicago, I wanna take you and the wifey out to dinner, I'd love to hang with you and hear the whole story.

Fortunately this is not true. A business that isn't built around its consumers is doomed to sink. For a large company, profit is the only incentive... However, small business will only thrive on good client relations.

A bad company gets bad rap. Bad reputation spreads around forums like these faster than a match would ignite. Good reputation though is a lot harder to push, but once you get it, you're in.

If V4L was only about selling cheap junk at a bad price, their forums wouldn't have near the activity; so you see in the long run this is paying them off. And quite frankly, it's the only way to run a startup industry successfully.

A company needs to set themselves apart from the get go in order to take off. Superb client care is both a bonus for us and them. It means they'd have to mess up pretty bad at this point to loose current market share and are in constant gain from referral.

So where do I send my consulting bills to? ;)

I have also spent over $1000. I am scared to figure out the actual cost. BUT I think I have quite enough stuff to keep me set for awhile and all the little addons and toys I could POSSIBLY need (RIGHT?!?) so just SMACK my hand if I buy ANYTHING but juice and new atty/batt if one dies... ;) Oh yeah, that's in a month.

But oh yeah, bought SOME stuff for a couple of friends too. Maybe about $200 worth for friends...

AND no, I'm not rich. Just impulsive. ;)
