Went to the US Air Force museum today, and was drooling at the HUGE mod they have on display there.... It has to be 100 feet tall and 15 feet in diameter! Holy cow...do I wanna vape this thing!

Actually it's a Titan I missle... my little provari is jealous....

This is a D21 drone, a mach 3 drone...basically an engine off the SR 71, swept wing body and remote piloted for surveillance. Only 4 flew and only a couple survive today, this one is at Grissom AFB.

We saw an SR-71 today too! Incredible looking machine...

Last time I went to the museum, I was many years from being a vaper, but today...I was seeing mods, tanks, drip tips, and vape gear EVERYWHERE! Funny how we can imagine re-purposing just about anything since becoming vapers! Haha!

There is an awesome picture of the missles in the space flight exhibit on the USAF musuem website. It's located in Dayton OH at Wright Patterson Air Force base.

This is my Dad's bomber and crew...the nose art would be sweet on a mod...

Super cool. Didn't realize how big Predator drones were until I was there. And seeing a Raptor up close was awesome. Although my favorites had to be the tricked-out chrome WWII fighter planes and the bombers. I LOVE old WWII bombers and nose art (see avatar).

Somewhere I have a picture of me at 12 standing in front of a fighter named the Strawberry ...... I looked for it everywhere last time I was there (two years ago) and couldn't find it. Gone, I'm sure.

Does anyone remember going back in 1992 and seeing an astronaut mannequin with a T.V. screen video in his helmet which acted as his face? And when you pushed a button on his chest, it activated the video and he talked to you a la Max Headroom?

Sorry for hijacking the thread. One cool thing about living next to Wright Patt are all the awesome jets and airplanes flying around all the time. Me and a friend were driving in Yellow Springs one afternoon, I happened to look up and I saw a B2 Spirit literally 500 feet above us... At least it felt that way. It was almost like I could've reached out and grabbed it. And it was QUIET! I saw it and shouted "BOMBER!" and my friend hit their brakes thinking there was someone with a bomb... Heh!!
