I would get the itaste VV v3. It's only 800 mAh, but it's also a passthrough so you can vape while it's charging. It is a variable voltage and wattage device. I prefer to use the watt settings to vape, as once you set the kind of hit you want, the device adjusts itself to whatever coil you put on it and well as adjusting itself for when your coil's resistance drifts from using over time. It's a set it and forget it mode. It also has an ohms reader, so you never have to wonder if your coils resistance is right. You can just check it.
Unfortunately, there isn't much out there in the automatic category for mid sized devices. Maybe V4L, Vapor for Life may have something like that, but I think try use proprietary threading, not necessarily 510 threading. It's really not too off putting to press a button to puff. This is why I suggest the VV v3. Once you set it, you don't have to make other adjustments unless you want to, but it gives you the option to once you are more comfortable. It's also a classy looking device for an ego size.
