6mg and 3 mg are common standard levels. People claim 18mg in mtl is about the same as 6mg DL, but personally I find it’s more like 10mg. Ymmv of course. You can add nicotine later to a steeped juice with little I’ll effect, so perhaps the 2mg wouldn’t hurt. You can just boost it later if needed.

Hi
I use 72mg nic 100%VG and when i add it to juice after it has steeped i get that horrible nic taste/effect. If i put it in the original mix before the steep it will come out fine. Any ideas?

thanks for that. was also thinking nic salt as i hate PG and heard its soluble in other liquid. could you comment and also to avoid PG can i just use distilled water to thin it out? Is there a calculation available to see what percentage of flavour change there is with this method?
You can thin it with DW. Just remember your nic concentration is affected by the same percentage. Some calculators have DW as one of the ingredients. I know ejuicemeup does anyway. I have no issue with PG nic because of the low percentage. 3mg nic in PG isnt enough to bother me and neither is the amount in flavoring. I cant do PG in my base thou. I have been using PEG400 in place of it with no affects.

I think there have been questions about it in the past. When I searched, I found that mainly the concern with PEG400 might be some sensitivity to it, similar to PG. I have some juices with PEG400 steeping but I did vape some for a few days and I don't appear to be "sensitive" to it... so far.

I couldn't determine one way or another that it was totally unsafe, but the concerns raised either seemed a bit alarmist, or to be surrounding the possibility of sensitivity to it, really.

I would probably say do your own search if you want to use it (and for as long as you need to search). I'm comfortable trying it based on what I found, but that doesn't mean you will be. It's certainly your body after all so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without the caveat that they should look for themselves, etc.
