Does anyone here vape sub ohms regularly? I'm sure they do that's a rhetorical question. Regardless, I am a 25-40 watt vaper normally (about 0.63Ω at work and Ω0.4 at home ) and I normally use around 6mg nic and mix around 20/80VG so I know it's not the high PG giving it a hard kick. Now to my question... do you sub ohm vapers cut down your recipes that you find on the web that you want to try? By how much on average? Half? More? I am already experimenting to answer my own question to what suits me (and possibly help out the community) but I figured I'd poll the crowd anyways.
It seems like most flavors are far too harsh at recommended %'s, and even when I drop them 2-3% they tear my throat up. My normal % of flavoring varies from about 12-16% most times for multiple flavors, and I don't too often go over 10% for single flavors. Most flavors that I've found on forums/reddit/here I have had to drop at least 4% overall flavoring for it to not feel harsh and overpowering. The only one I can take at a high % is OSDIY blue slush/pineapple mix at 20%. That one is smooth like butter. I understand sub ohm'ing too low ruins flavor but I believe I've found a sweet spot, but I'm a good enough builder, and I get fantastic flavor on some DIY juices (and 99% of vendor juices I like) so it's not that it's getting too hot and warping the taste, I know that much.
I just figured I'd ask to see what sort of response I get. Thanks in advance guys! No trolls please.
