Much harder than AC/DC Gardner sir, even harder than that is Emperor... I grew up on country music and classic rock, then at 12 heard Metallica from a friend of mine's dad... Wanted something darker, but liked it... He pulled out a copy of "Melissa" by Mercyful Fate and I was hooked. Been a fan of black metal ever since. Oddly enough shortly after I switched my avatar to King, V4L released the king diamond batts... It seemed fitting...

I would never wear a hello kitty onsie Ms. MoonDance.... I don't think King would either... He does wear a dallas cowboys hat when not in make up usually... He looks very different in plain clothes...

That's how I'm looking at it Ms. Slim, it's also why there is a bit of sibling rivalry... Always is in any family.

Ok. I listened to a couple of King Diamond songs on youtube: Give Me Your Soul and Welcome Home. It wasn't bad. It was well performed, well sang and well played. But, damn, it was depressing. I didn't want to slit my wrists or anything but I was a bit depressed when they ended.

I'm sorry man. I just don't get it. Maybe I am just too old to appreciate newer styles of music.

Sorry it depressed you Gardner sir... Maybe it would help if you listened to the whole album, you only got a small part of the story hearing one song from each of those albums....

RedemptiON sir the album is amazing... Clerks is probably my favorite film of all time, Randall being the character I connected most with.... I knew Kevin Smith was going to be using that song in the sequel, but when Randall sang King to Elias I was moved... It was a heart touching moment... That and the donkey show at the end...

Yes it is Ms. Star. King got me into black metal, I grew up with Emperor (their first album came out in 91, I first heard them in 93)... Ihsahn was the lead singer and co-mastermind of that band...

Not really a problem... A request from your twin Ms. Star. It was an older pic of Ihsahn and he was openly wearing a pentagram. She asked me to take it down, so I did. One of the few I'm willing to do that for. When I go on my comp tomorrow I'll post it here... It was only up maybe 5 minutes...
