I have a grasp of what steeping does. Every day or two you take off the cap, and the dropper cap, and blow out the old air and get new air inside, close it up, and repeat. Now what does this do besides making the juice darker? Does the flavor come out more? Does it vape better?

Also say you make your own juice(DIY) do you let the juice sit for a couple of days? Does it taste better if it sits for a certain period of time?

I dont take the caps off. When I get a new bottle in the mail it has already had 2 to 3 days to "steep" so I will test it right away. If I find that I don't taste a certain flavor (for example the cake in strawberry shortcake is too light) then I will set it aside for a day or two but continue to shake it a few times a day. I do find that some juice just get better and better as they age... this might be why people think they need to steep.

I find that some juices taste better if you let them sit for a while. Some taste good as sonn as you get them. I think there's a thread in this forum somewhere, wher we talked about the more complex some juices are (multi-flavored) the more they benefit if you let them sit for a while. But CayCay is right--it doesn't hurt to try them as soon as you get them. If you din't like it right away, don't toss them out--let them sit for a while (I do about 2 weeks) then try them again.

I know... I had not eaten one of those in forever, more like a trick or treat candy and when I saw it in my coveted juice delivery box I was like, "mmmmm, yummy!" it was good but I bet ms. T could make a juice that would be even better than the real thing and no cavities!
