I've had friends who thought nothing of blowing big clouds in places openly, I have expressed to them that in order for this to be more openly accepted that we do need to be respectful but that went out the window along with our friendships.

In Ohio, smoking was banned several years ago, indoor as well as now being frowned upon in a lot of outdoor spaces, ie. mlb, nfl & theme parks.

I did think it was odd of Lisa to kind of rant about stealth vaping, most of us as smokers back in the day used to smoke in restaurants, planes, airports and hell I'll admit I'm old enough to say even in the hospitals.

True, years ago smoking was seen a lot more often in public places, but we also didn't know that much about the health risks either. With vaping still being relatively new to most of the general public we find that a lot of vapers out there are giving the rest of us a bad name by blowing clouds where ever they please. Even if you think you're being stealthy there is still a chance someone will notice and may even be offended by it. We basically just ask vapers to be as courteous as possible so as not to upset the masses. We already have to dodge enough torches and pitchforks as it is in this industry.

James, it was great to see some of the staff from your retail store at the NW WA Fair yesterday! Very nice group.

On another note, please stop sending samples with my orders!!!!!! Every time I get a sample I end up adding a new flavor to my rotation. Enough is enough!!!!! I never thought I would vape Maui Sunrise or Pina Colada.

This is something we've been saying for awhile now.
Just don't be a jerk and try to have optimal situational awareness as well as common courtesy. View attachment 482011

^^^^^^^^^THIS! Be acutely aware of your surroundings....be courteous....and remember that until the masses are educated to the benefits of vaping and what vaping is, they will ALWAYS associate it with smoking. You didn't try to fog in a room when you smoked analogs......why would you do it when vaping????o_O Really? Grow up. We have enough to worry about with possibly losing our ability to vape because of bogus campaigns by the FDA and Big tobacco against vaping. We certainly as a community don't need anyone adding more fuel to their fire because they thinks its "cool" to vape 500ml of liquid at a time through a leaf blower! Be responsible, and remember your part of a community of people who all have one thing in common....we freed ourselves from big tobacco through vaping....we don't want to be chained again because of a few inconsiderate others. Sorry for the rant everyone..... That is all.......

Today's blog takes a look at Vaping and Mental Illness: Is There Hope?

A mind-blowing percentage of mentally ill people smoke cigarettes. While 17.8% of the US population smokes, 41% of mentally ill people smoke. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, mentally ill people smoke one-third of all cigarettes. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), these mental illnesses have the following rates for smoking cigarettes: Panic Disorder: 56% PTSD: 60% Depression: 60% Bipolar Disorder: 70% Schizophrenia: 90% You might do a double-take reading these statistics. Rates these high cannot be a coincidence. It begs the question: what makes the mentally ill so prone to cigarette addiction?
