I take a few pulls on a new wick without hitting the fire button to "prime" a wick...watch for air bubbles in the tank. It really helps to fully wet the wick. In your photo, it looks like there might be a bit of singe on the right side of the coil/wick so the wick might have been a bit dry.
I hope you find a coil/wick combination that works for you soon. I'm sure you're pretty frustrated with this by now. . . . .
oh it wasn't my pic, just one i found on google that was ironically from here. but it looks pretty identical to mine. yeah i've done that too to prime it, a little birdie told me that a bit back
it is frustrating lol. i read some people are like "my coil lasts for 4 months" WHAT??? I get a week, on a good week. maybe i'm just really sensitive to anything that tastes even the slightest bit off.. i haven't really had processed food in like a year so, maybe that's got something to do with it haha
