6 seems too low for me still. 12 seems ok, 16-18 is what i prefer but im ordering mostly 12 right now.
It took me 10 months to work my way down, little steps

You'll get the hang of the coils. Keep doing it, even if you have to remake them. I wrap my coils on a blunt syringe needle (I make micro coils for cotton wicks) and then thread the cotton through the coil.gah, what a long day!
made 7 coils today!
4 of which i had to redo.
wrapping kanthal around cotton (from cotton balls). i'm sure i used too much cotton, but i needed to get some practice. all my ptank 2s and davides that have juice in them have been recoiled.
it is soo frustrating working with tiny wire! but i should do a better job next time.
vaping strawberry at the moment. (until i get in front of the tv.)![]()

too old and feeble to thread a coil! (worried about wrecking the coil.) wrapped around eyeglass screwdriver worked best, but the handle drove me crazy (not like it was a long drive). using sewing needle was easier, but maybe a tad too tight.
at least i got some done. rest, recoup, retry!![]()

Am I understanding correctly that you wrap a coil just around a blunt needle by itself, then thread cotton through? What gauge wire and what do your ohm's end up at? Seems like it would be a really small diameter coil. Genuinely curious, as I still suck at wrapping coils![]()

Depends on whether it's your eyes that are failing or whether you have the shakes... If it's your eyes, there is hope:

I'm not trying to interfere and won't speak for the Stoneman, but that's exactly how I do it, I use both 28guage and 32 gauge kanthal and either use a blunt tip needle or a eyeglass mini screwdriver to wind the coil, then pull the cotton through.
Nice. I tried wrapping a micro coil on a drill bit, didn't work out at all. What do your coils ohm out at for the 28 and 32?
They range anywhere from .90 at the lowest to 3.0, I have had a few go as high as 3.6 but it then dropped to 3.3ohms. When using the 32 at 4/3 wrap runs around the .9 - 1.1 range, but as I had been experimenting a lot and not marking down those test as I it's just something I do on the spur of the moment for the RBA, but my Evod, Protank coils typically run 1.9 - 2.5 with 6/5 or 7/6 on the 32 gauge, that also depends on if I make them tightly wrapped or keep a slight space between them.lol
