I *just* got Wild Cherry in (though it's almost 2 months old... international shipping and all!), so I will definitely do this! I'm not crazy about it by itself -- it's too much for my taste buds somehow, too syrupy and intense-- but the idea of mixing it sounds good. Thanks for the tip!

Well, I've done it, and it rocks! 5 parts MBV 555, 1 part Wild Cherry, and a drop or two of Extreme Ice. Win!

Depends on whether it's your eyes that are failing or whether you have the shakes... If it's your eyes, there is hope:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/lisancentraltx/5187-coiling-station-building-coils.html

it takes steady hands, steady eyes, a steady brain and a good deal of patience. the odds of me having all 4 of those w/o my heart going squirlly ain't good! i need to find a quick and simple method.

as far as the link, i got the 1st one. saw a good deal on the 2nd, or something like it:

http://www.amazon.com/Professional-...sor/dp/B005VIG6TA/ref=pd_sim_e_1?tag=e04ed-20

Opppps, there I go again, getting behind, I really need to start reading these post from the newest to the oldest so I don't miss things like this or answer a question that has gotten an answer already! lol Nah, I don't like skipping ahead, might miss something...... nah, it'll all come full circle one way or another.

it's all good, i got the screwdriver idea from you anyway!

Hey Sam, as Stoneface stated and I do it this way as well is to make the coil first then pull the cotton through it as it is easier to get it through there, just wet it a bit with the juice you are going to use for that tank, roll the tip into a little point and thread it though there, this also helps to get the right amount in, too much you'll feel more resistance in pulling it through, too little and it will be too easy, it's a big of trial and error with the cotton amount, once it's in just fluff it a bit and you should be all set. :toast:

i "think" it would be easier to do that with micro coils than loose kanthal.

as John Paul Jones once said, "I have not yet begun to re-coil!" :p

You'll get the hang of the coils. Keep doing it, even if you have to remake them. I wrap my coils on a blunt syringe needle (I make micro coils for cotton wicks) and then thread the cotton through the coil.

we can do mirco coils...horizontally, right?

just need lighter metal and a torch, eh?

It probably is easier to thread cotton thru a micro coil than a "regular"(?) coil, but the standard coil isn't bad to pull cotton through. Let's see wire and cotton.. 3 guesses which one will conform first. Just pull the cotton through with care and persistence. And you can always adjust the coils after you've pulled the cotton through.

I think the first micro coils were horizontal. It's only been fairly recent that people have turned them on end.

I just did my first vertical nano coil today on a Protank head...well almost done. I haven't stuffed cotton around it yet. And I may have gotten carried away with the wraps though. I used 30 ga Kanthal, 10/11 wraps around a 1/16 drill bit. It came out to 2.3 ohms. I may undo it and remove a couple of wraps to get down to 1.8 or lower. Or maybe I should have used 28 ga, hmmmm.

Morning everyone... haven't forgotten you, had family drama and birthday celebrations to tend to. (Sibling's birthday was the 1st, except she always manages to wind up with a week of festivities... I tease her that just because she was born on All Saints does not make her a saint, nor does it warrant a week of partying. All to no avail so far...)

Woke up this morning to a nicely wrapped package sitting on my keyboard...

Me: Bit early, no? (My birthday's not till the 16th.)
Mom: Open it.

.... it's a good thing I was still dithering about mods, cause she got me an MVP 2 and put a TARDIS wrap on it. I love my mom. :D

The button took some getting used to, but it's no trouble. And I'm vaping out of a TARDIS! Apropos, considering this thing kicks like a mule. Ten puffs and it was Time and Relative Dimension in Space, indeed.

The paternal unit has consented to his annual visit to do a combination birthday party this weekend (Like "why do you still live at home?" the answer to "why do you only see your father once a year?" is ".... it's complicated.") Something tells me he won't be satisfied with the bunch of Egos I picked up for him when he sees mine, now.... but he can bloody well afford his own, if he's so inclined. He's not getting this sweet thing, that's for sure!

(Also included with the MVP 2: Boom Choco Latte, Whipped Cream, and more Sticky Bun, 30 ml each. Like I said, I love my mom.)

... I'm vaping a TARDIS! (Sorry, just wanted to see if that still sounded awesome. It does. :D)
