Morning everyone... haven't forgotten you, had family drama and birthday celebrations to tend to. (Sibling's birthday was the 1st, except she always manages to wind up with a week of festivities... I tease her that just because she was born on All Saints does not make her a saint, nor does it warrant a week of partying. All to no avail so far...)

Woke up this morning to a nicely wrapped package sitting on my keyboard...

Me: Bit early, no? (My birthday's not till the 16th.)
Mom: Open it.

.... it's a good thing I was still dithering about mods, cause she got me an MVP 2 and put a TARDIS wrap on it. I love my mom.

The button took some getting used to, but it's no trouble. And I'm vaping out of a TARDIS! Apropos, considering this thing kicks like a mule. Ten puffs and it was Time and Relative Dimension in Space, indeed.

The paternal unit has consented to his annual visit to do a combination birthday party this weekend (Like "why do you still live at home?" the answer to "why do you only see your father once a year?" is ".... it's complicated.") Something tells me he won't be satisfied with the bunch of Egos I picked up for him when he sees mine, now.... but he can bloody well afford his own, if he's so inclined. He's not getting this sweet thing, that's for sure!

(Also included with the MVP 2: Boom Choco Latte, Whipped Cream, and more Sticky Bun, 30 ml each. Like I said, I love my mom.)

I'm sitting in my car vaping before its time for me to go in. I have some blue moo with me, but I've been cheating on mbv a lil. I tried a new vendor last week and am really liking the three I got :x
I always vape WC and strabmoocake when I'm home. Who am I kidding, I drop my pvs so much id ruin big pro tanks in the car. Oh! My evods worked well in the cold this am, didn't freeze my lips shut!!

I LOVE wrapping coils! I don't like to use a needle or screw to wrap it on. I just like to wrap it around the wick and find it incredibly easy and satisfying. It took me a long time to tackle it initially but now I just can't picture buying pre made heads unless the ones I already have are too trashed to rewrap. I'm looking to try a vertical wrap for the pro tank2 next. It's always that first one that's the hardest, then it's cake, in my experience. The blueberry cheesecake sounds so good! Next step for me is DIY. Will probably order some flavors and nic, PG and VG tonight. Have to have something new to be working on as I'm a major tinkerer. It's my spousal unit's bday today. We're being lazy and will probably watch a movie...we are such 'housecoats'!!! Hope ya'all are having a great day/evening!!

edited to add.....anyone know where I can get the little rubber grommets that go in the bottom of the basic BCC type heads? That's the part that takes a beating on mine.

Good morning all, so far wrapping coils has been a fairly slight learning curve for me, but I have always enjoyed little fiddly things, I guess that's why in a world of fuel injectors I can still rebuild an old q jet carb with the best of em. Did I just date myself. Meh. Good luck today DustyZ. Vaping DIY blueberry cheesecake again and some other stuff.

I cheated on mbv last week too, but said juices aren't even shipped yet. That'll teach me to stray! I keed, I keed. I took advantage of a massive sale, so I'm not upset at said vendor for being backlogged... but it did make me glad that mom snagged some more mbv behind my back.

Glad you didn't end up doing a Flick impression, Mia (the "tongue frozen to pole" scene from A Christmas Story). I suspected I wouldn't like metal tips, and I was right... but since the aros drip tip isn't replaceable, I fixed it by cutting a hole in the end of a carto condom and sliding it over the drip tip. Takes a little tinkering to get the fit just right, but it solves the issue of the drip tip being ice cold this time of year!

I'm hoping Dusty's day went well, too.

My new juice came super fast. sorry you don't have yours yet! I really don't buy any juices that are similar to mbv elsewhere, I buy stuff that's different. I really only repeat order from MBV and avulsion, but I think I'll have to reorder these new juices

That's how I do mine too roonies. I'm convinced the weird taste I get is from the silica. I ordered new, hopefully better silica so I can start to get better for an rba future for my reo!

May I just say that I find you incredibly inspiring! I could take a lesson from you any day of the week. You are also a most gifted writer, which is what I was going to college to be also. However, I didn't finish, but rather got married young and started a family. Most recently, I complain about the 12 to 18 month recovery time from a shoulder replacement and you have given me an 'aha' moment to say the least. You are an incredible asset to the thread and I, for one, am very happy that you're back. roonies sends a hug!!

Quite possibly! Bookmarked, thanks! I'll be trying by hand first, just cause I always like to start with the least amount of tools and work my way up, but that looks like a handy gizmo to have around, and is very similar to the kind of rig I've been thinking I might have to build in order to do more than one coil a week or so. (I know going in that my hands won't be able to do more than one a week if I'm freehanding it... my fingers lock up after a while of doing that kind of detail work, and if I push it too far, they'll *swell* up, and then I can't do things I *need* to do, like button my own shirt or use a dinner knife. It's a balance.)

So yeah, thanks, that may very well go into my little arsenal of handy gadgets.

5p is a little too costly for me, so I'm not going to try it
