Welcome back Paleodian...I wondered where you wandered off to...

Just a hectic month Stone!! First the furlough.....then back and catch-up with that mess...then the annual trek for Halloween..then company we haven't seen in 8 years!....I didn't get a lot of computer time but things are getting settled down. Funny how when you get older you start noticing any change in your routine......but all is well...it's quiet...and I have a mini tank full of Strawberry Shortcake.....Ahhhh....life is good.....

I'm not familiar with that link, however, the one at rba supplies is guaranteed pretreated. The owner was the host on the webcast I won some at and he stressed the importance of that. His was a thick, cord like wick. He's a small, growing company and pays attention to the details so I will probably order from him if I like the free sample that I won.

I decided to rewick one of my ego-c atty's with cotton instead of fighting with the silica anymore.

I LOVE wrapping coils! I don't like to use a needle or screw to wrap it on. I just like to wrap it around the wick and find it incredibly easy and satisfying. It took me a long time to tackle it initially but now I just can't picture buying pre made heads unless the ones I already have are too trashed to rewrap. I'm looking to try a vertical wrap for the pro tank2 next. It's always that first one that's the hardest, then it's cake, in my experience. The blueberry cheesecake sounds so good! Next step for me is DIY. Will probably order some flavors and nic, PG and VG tonight. Have to have something new to be working on as I'm a major tinkerer. It's my spousal unit's bday today. We're being lazy and will probably watch a movie...we are such 'housecoats'!!! Hope ya'all are having a great day/evening!!

edited to add.....anyone know where I can get the little rubber grommets that go in the bottom of the basic BCC type heads? That's the part that takes a beating on mine.

may be them. I have watched this item on and off for a couple of months and have never seen them in stock. I have some Evod coils that won't make it through many more rebuilds without these.

Let's talk tobacco...
I don't vape tobacco a lot, and when I do it's usually just a tank or two then not again for a while, but I am looking for a good one.
I have tried the 555 Menthol, really didn't care for it. At the suggestion of paleodian, I got the RY4. I really see the Dominican profile he was talking about, but I really get the same flavor base as the 555 and just don't care for it at all. I have tried the USA Blend Menthol, and that one was pretty good, I enjoyed it. So based on this, what would you all recommend for another tobacco flavor to try?

We did, and we had SOO many people come up to us and ask what we were vaping!! It was cool! Can you believe that most folks there are paying $12-$16 for a 10ml bottle of juice!!!! Seriously!!! I tried some...and it was...ummm......VERY overpriced?...When we let them try our Mt. Baker and told them what we paid...we were almost stampeded at one point.... THANK YOU JAMES AND COMPANY!!!!! You guys truly are the best!!!

...and then the in laws came back with us and spent the week...... so there wasn't much time for posting. We met ALOT of vapers in the quarter and I sent them ALOT of them to Mt. Baker..........hope the stock holds.......I was almost mugged for the peanut butter-Graham cracker mix I was vaping......the bartender who had a Provari REALLY liked it...

i remember being down there once, in late November, got back from scoping out all the bootlegs stores and went for a swim. i'm hopping in the elevator and one of the gals that works there says, "wow, you must be a Yankee!" totally surprised me cuz i do, indeed, have a New England accent. however, i hadn't said a word.

i asked how she knew, "we don't go swimming in November!" she says. heck, i live in Seattle, if it's sunny and 70, that's swimming weather!

i had to change all the coils i made yesterday. my batteries don't usually go "yellow" until 400-440 puffs. all hit yeallow around 330. grabbed some coils i had soaked and added a top wick to them. pulled out some 3mm silica and made 1 new one. 3mm is too thick, imo. but i don't wanna overtax my batteries for a while just yet. got a bit of 3mm, but i think i'll just get some 2mm and wait until things improve around here. then, i'll get a torch and get into microcoils.

got a friend started on vaping over the weekend. she's loving sticky bun. i gave some aros, evods and a mini-davide and lent her a slb mega that's promised to someone else. i filled up an aro with some "coffee liqueur" born on 9-2. it was so-so, last time i tried it, and i wasn't crazy about the aros either. omg, i turned and looked at her, "if i had any idea how awesome this was, i would have left it at home!" not sure how much she likes it, but i thought it was out of this world. it was like a white russian w/o the booze.

Seanchai, i'm so jealous of your writing abilities! post often! it's inspiring!

I have never been to New Orleans but want to go so badly!! My spousal unit has been there and says "it smells there" and won't go....pfffff....my son, daughter, in law, and her mom go down there around Mardi Gras most years and I am going to go, no matter what. Spoose can stay home and watch the cats!! He will be down with that....one of the reasons I think he's so great!! We give each other room to breathe.
My dad, God rest his sweet soul, used to go down there with my stepmom too for Mardi Gras...when they were in their 60's and LOVED it! I have my dad's adventurous spirit so I know I will too! Since leaving KC I especially miss the food, blues and jazz....plenty of that in the Quarter! It's all about the life experiences as far as I'm concerned! Vape friendly too...winner winner chicken dinner!!

I just recently got a couple Aro's and like them well enough but can't use them on my mod without the ego/510 adaptor, which I don't like to use. I've been using them on my spinners though with favorable results. I have never tried the coffee liquor, but I'll tell you what.....there was a period of time when White Russians were my drink of choice! Was something added to the Coffee Liquor flavor to make it more creamy? Sounds like a good one to try!.....and totally agree about Seanchai!

on a warm day, you can smell the sewage in the French Quarter. so what, go inside! there are so many awesome restaurants in the Quarter, that it isn't funny. especially the mom and pop style ones, cuz "mom" will come out and chat and tell you what deserts she made that day! i was there a week, gained about 15 pounds! (esp fried chicken livers in gravy'n'onions. i was eating them by the kilo! )

MBV changed the name of their "Kahlua" vape when they changed suppliers. i reckon it is a whole new product. i was stunned when i tried it. like i said. had i known, i'd be vaping some right now!

it's ok, still got oodles of dulce de leche.
