Just placed another order with MBV. I got

1 x Cinnamon Roll E juice Baker Vapor
(Nicotine Strength: 6 mg/ml (Light), Blend: PG 50% VG 50% , Bottle Size: 50 ml + $6, Extra Flavoring Shot (.50 8oz, .25 under 8oz): 2)
1 x Menthol E juice Baker Vapor
(Nicotine Strength: 6 mg/ml (Light), Blend: PG 50% VG 50% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.50 8oz, .25 under 8oz): 0)
1 x Cinnamon Roll Electronic Cigarette Flavoring
1 x Hawk Sauce Electronic Cigarette Flavoring
1 x Faux Hawk E juice Baker Vapor
(Nicotine Strength: 6 mg/ml (Light), Blend: PG 65% VG 35%, Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.50 8oz, .25 under 8oz): 1)

I am slowly starting to acquire the ingredients for DIY, but they seem to take a back seat. I was going to get some nic from WZ but the shipping is $20 to Arizona??? That makes the nic from MBV just about as cheap. But I am going to order beakers, funnels, and misc stuff from WZ, but first I have to order 2 drip tips from Bull Box Mods and some clear j-wraps for a couple of mods.

I'm pretty sure WL has free shipping once you hit a price point....

As to flavor shots. Someone else recommended the following:

80/20 1 flavor shot
65/35 2 flavor shots

and so on. I have been ordering 65/35 and getting 2 flavor shots and it seems to be working out well for all of the liquids I have tried. YMMV.

I think it's a matter of our own tongues.. I get max VG and no shots in stuff and am good with it this way

Hi BobbyH, and welcome.
Vaping caramel apple here. 60 degrees out. I think it's cold. LOL.

yeah buddy... I agree with ya, it's 54 here now and supposed to drop to 37 tonight - I'm breaking out the woolies and vaping sticky buns

So today I decided to clean up my evods and protanks and drop new coils in them. Its been, I think, a little over a month since I have used them last. Been using a carto tank for all day and drippers for in between. I remember now why I gave up on them :( Its gotta be me, the way I vape or something because so many people use them with great results, but I find them so inconsistent. With a carto tank I may not be blowing huge plumes, but I find every part of the vape satisfying. And the best part is, the drag I just took was exactly the same as the last, which was exactly the same as the one yesterday and the day before that. With an evod I find that my drag will be stellar, good, mediocre, or awful. I can't seem to figure out the trick to make it good every time. Sorry for the rant, just felt like articulating my thoughts.

Yeah, but we could probably come up with a decent range, provided we got enough data. The biggest issue would be that MBV has so many flavors, it would take a while to get a good range on even a few dozen of them, because the number of people who've tried <10 flavors would far exceed the number who've tried, say, >50, so it's entirely possible there would be little overlap.

Put in less mathy terms, getting a range for Hawk Sauce, Thug Juice, Moo Juice etc would be easy because they're very popular flavors which have been tried by many different people. Getting a range for less popular flavors would take more time, because fewer people have tried them.

Some of it also depends on what you're using... I just tried pumpkin spice on a regular non-VV ego with a full charge, and it tasted for all the world like it needed more steep time; all I got was relatively weak pumpkin. On my MVP 2, it blasts me with pumpkin pie flavor.

ok, i will participate....but if there is math involved...

Today was a great day. Finally got around to replacing the PT2 my hubby stole from my backups box. My B&M had the purple PT2! Of course as soon as I got in my truck it got filled with Butterscotch and the one I had been using is now in the backup box. Even better came home to vape mail! 50 ml strawberry shortcake 15 ml Milk Chocolate to go with the Peanut Butter that was in Wednesdays order 15 ml cake (yellow) 15 ml Butterscotch since I sold my other small bottle and needed another on the go bottle ( besides can never have enough) and my freebie of Banana Gone Nuts. BGN leaked a little so when I opened my mailbox I was greeted by the smell of banana bread. Yummy!

I've actually never tried cotton on anything, how often do you have to replace it in a protank coil?

Kinda just depends on your juice but once a week for lighter juices would be good. Can just pull the cotton out dry burn the coil and and insert a new piece cotton is cheap.

For me, that depends on the "gunkiness" of the juice...well, that, and if you let it dry out it singes pretty easily and will need to be replaced.

BTW, a package of sterile cotton balls from the drug store yields tons and tons of wicks. There is a bit of a learning curve figuring out how much cotton to use.

I may have to try it, the cost of entry is low enough :) I just never gave it much thought thinking it would be too much maintenance, but I guess it wouldn't be too taxing to just slide a new wick in. I would probably start off on a RDA though.

You can always use the cotton balls for something else if not for wicks. I find a pair of tweezers can be handy when threading the cotton through the coil :2c:

I think I will try it. But I don't build micro coils, just old school ones, it seems like it would be harder to thread through and mess the coil up?

On second thought, probably couldn't make my coils much worse :)
