I have been trying to get that dragon coil thing down, but just haven't mastered it yet. I wrapped 11 wraps of 28ga Kanthal around a 5/64 drill bit and placed that on a bed of cotton. It came out to 1.8 ohms. The throat hit is pretty strong and the flavor is good but the vapor is weaker than if I were to use Ekowool. Trying different ways to lay in the cotton and I'm in a co-op for some hemp fiber. Maybe I should try for lower ohms...maybe 9 wraps around a 1/16 drill bit.

meant to ask, on anything that you make with strawberry, are you using ripe strawberry from MFS, or MBV strawberry? i really meant to pick up some ripe strawberry, but put it on and off an order about 4 times. ended up not ordering it
I use MBV(FW) starwberry , TFA strawbbery and creame and also TFA Strawberry (Ripe). THe TFA Strawberry ripe taste most lke fresh ripe strawberrys to me.

download soundboards from the 3 shows Deep Purple used to make "Live In Japan". not sure if it is complete as advertised, or just a copy of the 3 cd set released a few years back (cuz i used to try to make complete shows with Japanese version that had the bonus disc.) and the shows are flac!

anyone know of an MVB-ers pin map anywhere?
I've seen google maps used for this kind of thing but it's always been a PITA to use that one.
I'd love to see a ball park estimate of where everyone's from.. not the individual residences of course but maybe zip code locators and general mvb shipping times.. mine's usually 2 or 3 days.

I ordered 1 order late Wed night and 1 early Thu Morning both are out for delivery right now. Actually I probably really should go out and check the mailbox again, been about an hour, maybe they are finally here.

the fault of MBV. Instead it is the fault of USPS - I live in a small town and
things get re-routed to Kansas City and what not. I usually on average get
it four days after shipment. The past two orders have come three days after
shipment (counting today's delivery, where's the mailman?).

that av is ancient - to me anyway.. years ago I played trivia at the delphiforums - game is still on I think but that was one of my avatar's there - probably circa 2003 or so - it's just one of those things I have stashed on my computer that I save in various email notes to myself.. you know, just in case of hard drive failures - I don't think I can use a bigger one here but I can make it massive if I want.. gotta love photoshop

phew! built my first coil for my IGO L. what a task! i can definitely see why Mike drilled them holes in the post to his dripper. in fact, w/o them holes, i think ptank coils are much easier to build. took 50 minutes to get a (almost) decent coil screwed in vrs (less than) ten minutes whipping out an evod (actually) coil!
got really stuck trying to wrap the coils around the post w/o mangling the coil. (i shoulda used a longer wick, too. but ima cheapskate and i was trying not to waste wick). used 3mm silica. i might snag some 2mm for a few coils though, easier to double.
vaping vanilla cup cake in a mini davide with a mini ptank bottom, heavenly. (i sure wish the mini ptank 2 version 2 had come out sooner!)
vaping ddl and cinnamon roll, both in davides. made the coil for the cr last week. dang, it's tasty! i'm either hallucinating, or i can taste a bit of icing in it. (course, that by no means rules out the hallucinating.)

just figured out why the water ain't boiled yet...forgot to turn the little nobby thingy on the stove!
I love the IGO-L but got frustrated beyond belief tryin' to coil it in stock form, need a third hand, finally caved in the last time (after 30 minutes) and had my better half tighten the screws as I held everythin' in place....
I'm currently doing 6 wraps of 30AWG on a 6D finishing nail 1.7 ohms, perfect size to just be able to thread 2mm Ekowool thru and so much easier now
