The post office in my tiny crappy town was closed down, so now the mail comes from the next tiny crappy town near me. I lost my great mail lady, and recently my vape mail has been delivered somewhere else, causing me to put in tickets to USPS. On the plus side, I've been getting someone else's mail, and I love the footwear catalog. I may have to order a pair of the fluffy orthopedic slippers.
I keep running into the problem that anything with whatever they use for "toasted" and I don't seem to get along well.

omg. that would make me so angry too! my mail man rocks, and even knows i sleep during the day so if i have ot sign for a package he's like "sorry if i woke you up" i'm like OMG ITS OK YAY vape MAIL lol but this lady /sigh. .she's not good. don't say you left a delivery slip if you clearly did not.
Evening, all. Just back from my dad's place and had to share... I brought a ton of MBV juice and a handful of egos for my dad, stepmom and grandfather (stepmom had expressed interest, so this wasn't a case of me going way overboard!).
We had a tasting session, they tried a bunch of juices, tested out my MVP 2.0, learned how the egos worked, and picked out some juices for themselves... I came prepared with a bunch of 5ml bottles and decanted whatever took their fancy (cafe coffee was the big winner, it turns out.)
Stepmom was an avid student, and seems to really like the customization of gear and juice aspect. I wasn't surprised; she's an engineer. My father stood at a safe distance and grunted for a while (also unsurprising - standing at a safe distance and pretending disinterest is a specialty of his) before volunteering that it was never going to work for him because... and here he went on to describe the classic signs of PG sensitivity. This was also not remotely a surprise to me, as his only experience with ecigs prior to today were whatever he could pick up at the gas station, and I've inherited my own hairtrigger immune system from his side of the family. I explained about PG/VG ratios and suggested that he might want to try 100% VG juice.... to no real reaction, good or bad.
Meanwhile, my 81 year old grandfather had figured out his ego better than my father or stepmother combined, and was going to town. "This is great coffee! Where'd you get this?" He was drawing on it like a champ from the first pull without any "vaping isn't smoking" type coaching, primer puffs and all.
Several hours later, when I was on my way out the door 25ml of juice lighter (happily so), my dad finally spoke up, asking pseudo-casually, "So... where did you say you can get that stuff in 100% VG?"
Needless to say, I'm emailing him a list... and I left MBV business cards in my wake.
Add that to the friend who unexpectedly came to visit this weekend (same friend who helped me fix our van awhile ago), and who is vaping the heck out of my sticky bun and pumpkin spice and eying my TARDIS wrapped MVP 2 with open lust, and I may have managed to convert 4 smokers to vapors and MBV devotees in a 24 hour period. Is that a record?
Still amazed and amused by my grandfather though. Proof that he's an awesome dude.
... the only down side to this weekend is, I'm going to need more juice!

Just a quick shout out to say hello all, so HELLO ALL! I'm not doing so well right now so that is why I am not posting much, hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow. I hope everyone is doing well, oh and Congrats Joie for the win on the Drip Tip!

Very Nice Seanchai! No one I know wants to vape, but I don't know many people Lol. My moms bf is a heavy 3 pack a day at least smoker. He tried it, and i gave the warning like inhale slow, not too much, and he took this HUMONGOUS drag, then proceeded to cough like a bat out of hell LOL My mom was a bit more keen on it when she was here a week ago, but says it gave her a nicotine high. At least they roll their own cigs, so it's not as bad as it could be.

converting is fun, especially to hard core smokers.....it's funny and challenging at the same time. They think we are crazy, and then they get it !!!!!
oh yes, my boyfriend thinks i'm a tad nuts. I don't know if he'll ever "get it". especially not after he see's my reos... he'll be liek "uh those are not even remotely like cigarettes" lol i just say " well, i haven't smoked in over 3 months so, IT"S OBVIOUSLY WORKING"
yeah some of my friends look at my stuff and think I am nuts.....and laugh....I tell them.....jokes on you.....after 45 yrs of smoking I haven't had a cig in over 8 months, AND I don't STINK anymore.....but I still love y'all ......they finally agree but still think they can bully me.

Vaping thug juice in a PT2 that has seen better days. Getting a lot of burnt hits so I think it's time to clean the heads and maybe even rewrapped them. I started doing a vertical coil in 1 head and was waiting for some hemp to stuff around the coil but I may have to break down and use cotton. Oh well.

Got my first order in from MBV. Prices, comparatively, were great. Flavors weren't close to what I was expecting... but I took my best guess after reading a lot of reviews. I don't think my expectations were too high. I do think I'll have to steep this stuff and see what happens. Maybe, hopefully, the taste will improve. Called on the phone and their CS was great so... They'll definitely get a 2nd chance from me.
My fiance wants no part of it...my friends are intrested but not enough to do research they just want to use my stuff when im around. I guess I converted 4 people at work. One uses a cig a like and is not intrested in anything else, and the other 3 got egos on their own and were buying overpriced juice and gear so I gave them MBV's business card also and told them to check it out along with some MBV juice that I wasent super crazy about.
I order my juices a month ahead so everything has plenty of time to steep. I leave the caps off
48 hours, shaking and squeezing air in the bottles twice a day during this time. They then go in
the box with the other juices and get shaken and sniffed once a day. What flavors did you get?
Take the caps off overnight or even a full day. Shake them everyday and squeeze the air out to get fresh air in and give them about 2-3 weeks. I'd be willing to bet they will taste much better. I got 2 new orders in this morning I'm not going to touch them for at least 2 weeks. Probably not going to even try the tobacco flavors for 4-6 weeks.
PS- There are a few that are good right away.

I got new flavors I've yet to try in 15ml bottles maybe those will only need a week?
Only one way to find out eh? Some flavors taste good without steeping, mostly the fruits I hear.
