Thanks for the tobacco rundown, Dusty. I haven't ventured into tobaccos yet - fairly sure they won't be for me in terms of an ADV - but all the rest of my family wants to know who's got tobaccos worth sampling... and they want me to be the one to try them first, lol! So I suspect my next few orders will include tobacco sample packs from a few different vendors, followed by some DIY so that I can make it by the vat once they all know what they like. (They won't have the patience to vendor shop or make 3 different orders to get their juice for the month.)

Re: Tattoos, I don't have any, but only because I haven't had the funds and I have limited real estate (I'm 5 feet tall and can't get tattooed below the waist because I've got reduced sensation/circulation there). I've ruminated a lot over the years... one of these days I'll have the money and have decided on *where* they'll go. ("What" has been settled for about two decades.) I've never understood why people are prejudiced against tattoos in this day and age. History is one thing, but I don't know many people these days who *don't* have at least one tat, other than some Jewish friends who abstain for religious reasons.

To be clear, I don't think there's anything wrong with not wanting a tattoo on *oneself*, but man, judging people who are tattooed is just a sign that the judger has too much time on their hands.

Since the prejudice does exist, though, I go back and forth about where I should get my tats purely because I'm not sure how visible I want them.... on the one hand, I already get snap judgments made against me every day for being in a chair, so what difference will visible tats make. On the other, I don't need any further marks against me. It just irritates me that I have to even *consider* that something as inoffensive as celtic knotwork or an obscure Beatles reference might be a "mark against me" in any way whatsoever. :p

Ugh, I'm sorry you're going to have to cope with this for so much longer, Dusty. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Man, this really sucks...you have to live with it until the first of the year?!? I sincerely hope it won't be this painful for you the entire time.

I actually personally know a tattooed librarian :toast:

Yes, this is partly due to the fact that I just started this position, which is a seasonal one, and found out that it ends Dec 25th, when I had initially applied and had the first part of the interview this information was not made available, they stated that there is a possibility that it could lead to a permanent position, but I don't hold much stock in that. As the surgery I would require, while considered minor, I would still be out a minimum of 5 days and I just can't afford to miss any time at this point. Sooooo, that leaves no real options.

Dusty, I'm so sorry you have to deal with this health issue for a few months longer.

Tats - I don't have any, and don't have anything pierced either. Guess I just never
went there. I don't care what everyone else does, and I think so many of the tats
are just beautiful.

Tobacco eliquid - A few months ago I got into all the yummy flavors, and started vaping
various things throughout the day, then realized I really wanted to smoke analogs, and did
smoke 1 or 2 a day for awhile. Realized I needed a stronger nic level for about the first
six hours of the day, and realized it has to be a potent, in your face flavor. A few weeks
ago, was vaping a vanilla tobacco from V4L and discovered it left a sort of 'just smoked
a cigarette' taste on the back of my tongue. Went up on my nic level during the day and
also ordered some tobacco flavored juice (555, Ry4), and in addition ordered some of those
other flavors that I find leave the same affect in your mouth and tongue (vanilla tobacco,
caramel stuff, and a few almond and other nut stuff). I need a cut throat in your face,
bold flavor in higher nic during the day, and save the sweet, fun flavors in lower nic for the
evenings.

Thank you!

I have always in the past made sure to cover them up, I also used to take my earring out, I stopped doing that part, but after I got the job, which thankfully have been that many, I would wait for a week or so before revealing them! :p It's just a shame that people think the way they do sometimes.

When I was the Business Office Manager for a hospital in South Florida I was hiring for a few positions for patient accounts rep's and had the assistant manager do the preliminary interviews on the candidates that I thought would be a good fit, well she came to me after an initial interview with this one woman who had extensive knowledge, but she stated, Oh, she has full sleeve tattoo's and a pierced nose, I just for a second looked at her, then looked at my arms and the pulled on my earring and told her to send her in so I could interview her, I hired here on the spot, the assistant manager wasn't happy but I called her into the office and told her that if a person is qualified for the position and comes to the interview appropriately dressed and with a professional attitude, it have no bearing on her body art unless it was obscene, which there were not. She never questioned this ever again. Some people!!!

I don't have a tat, and I don't judge others for them...actually, I have to resist being that "creepy" guy who stares at them and then asks about them. If I've known someone for awhile, I'll ask about it. A lot of body art is beautiful and masterfully rendered, but I think it would be weird to ask a stranger about their tats....so I don't....eventhough I want to.... :?:

Got my first order in from MBV. Prices, comparatively, were great. Flavors weren't close to what I was expecting... but I took my best guess after reading a lot of reviews. I don't think my expectations were too high. I do think I'll have to steep this stuff and see what happens. Maybe, hopefully, the taste will improve. Called on the phone and their CS was great so... They'll definitely get a 2nd chance from me.

I'm sure you'll hear this from other folks, but aging MBV juice is absolutely necessary. Almost every juice I've thought was meh - and even some that were unvapable - have gotten much, much better with age.

Good AM everyone!! Hope you all have a great Sunday! Got my usual MBV in rotation for the day, Van CupCake, Cheesecake, and Butterscotch!!:vapor:

You are tempting me to go get my Cheesecake out of the steeping box and see if it's gotten vapeable yet... Keeps tasting like spoiled milk to me. :(

I was wondering how you got by that one

Note to self: put an extra drip trip in the car.

I wasn't totally SOL, my better half offered me her eVic with a nice pretty pink Bella tank on it, just had to go to the car and grab it... Guess in my mind lippin' the RDA sittin' out with the guys doin' their cigars was a better option

I don't like needles. But I still like my tattoo, and will probably get more at some point.

But that doesn't mean they are for everyone!

i should have said i don't like them on me. i like my art on the wall because i can change it on occasion. whatever people wanna do to their bodies is fine with me, tho i know there is a lot of "tattoo regret" when ppl get older.

We just signed up for a cruise down the Rhine next Sept. The wife won't get on one of them big boats with all the problems she keeps hearing about. So it's a little boat for us. Should be fun though.

We have looked at river cruisin' and will probably do it eventually, would love to do Europe or China :D also American Cruise Lines has some I'd love to do as well however they are pricy...

For the amount of peeps and turnarounds the big cruise lines do the instances of problems that make the news are really small...
