Thanks for the
tobacco rundown, Dusty. I haven't ventured into tobaccos yet - fairly sure they won't be for me in terms of an ADV - but all the rest of my family wants to know who's got tobaccos worth sampling... and they want me to be the one to try them first, lol! So I suspect my next few orders will include
tobacco sample packs from a few different vendors, followed by some DIY so that I can make it by the vat once they all know what they like. (They won't have the patience to vendor shop or make 3 different orders to get their
juice for the month.)
Re: Tattoos, I don't have any, but only because I haven't had the funds and I have limited real estate (I'm 5 feet tall and can't get tattooed below the waist because I've got reduced sensation/circulation there). I've ruminated a lot over the years... one of these days I'll have the money and have decided on *where* they'll go. ("What" has been settled for about two decades.) I've never understood why people are prejudiced against tattoos in this day and age. History is one thing, but I don't know many people these days who *don't* have at least one tat, other than some Jewish friends who abstain for religious reasons.
To be clear, I don't think there's anything wrong with not wanting a tattoo on *oneself*, but man, judging people who are tattooed is just a sign that the judger has too much time on their hands.
Since the prejudice does exist, though, I go back and forth about where I should get my tats purely because I'm not sure how visible I want them.... on the one hand, I already get snap judgments made against me every day for being in a chair, so what difference will visible tats make. On the other, I don't need any further marks against me. It just irritates me that I have to even *consider* that something as inoffensive as celtic knotwork or an obscure Beatles reference might be a "mark against me" in any way whatsoever.
Ugh, I'm sorry you're going to have to cope with this for so much longer, Dusty. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
