We just signed up for a cruise down the Rhine next Sept. The wife won't get on one of them big boats with all the problems she keeps hearing about. So it's a little boat for us. Should be fun though.

have a couple friends that say the same thing.....but I've been on 11 and not had a bad experience yet,.....so until I do we will continue.
kind of like a bad flight......had a few of them and still go:laugh:

Good day to y'all, Dusty I hope the pain is short lived, Uno sucks to hear about the bullie. As to all the ta2oo chat, I have like 10 of them separately but in the end it will all be one, just haven't figured out how to link them all together yet. I work in an industry that really doesn't have issues with ink and I don't really need to hide them. That being said I personally don't like hand, face and neck tats, I think it's silly but this again is my opinion. I also couldn't care less if other people want to have these types of tats done, just not for me. Back on topic I am going to get a custom apple pie a la mode and maybe the caramel apple and see how that tastes.

Funny our "not smokin' money" was supposed to go for that trip as a motivator for us when we first committed to vapin', have a pic of a cruise ship in Alaskan waters taped to the side of one of our kitchen cabinets so we see it daily...

Nice thought if I'd quit buyin' more stuff

It wasn't a bullie thank goodness ;)

I've got 4 tats, not sure how I'd blend them into a theme at this point, really started to luv Asian influenced art...

We are ALL your vaping Buddies Mia :toast:

ditto. cept for the bf part.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I don't have a bf either. :D Umm, just so we're clear... Yeah...

I have found more friends as I get older.....there are a group of us 4-5 that vacation every year.....we have cruised together the past 8 yrs, and we do dinner at least once or twice a month....couldn't live without them. I am very lucky to have them in my life. We laugh we cry and sometimes we laugh so hard we cry.....a bunch of dorks sometimes.....especially on vacations. We figure have fun, if others think we are weird it's ok, probably will never see them again.

As i get older I have not found more friends. I have a couple of friends, one currently resides in New Orleans. Funny story to that. I met him in Chicago Illinois and we both moved out of state and we both ran into each other a couple of years later after moving to New Orleans. I moved to Florida a year before Katrina, and he spent 8 weeks living in a motel in Jacksonville, Fl when Katrina hit. It was pretty bad. The thing about New Orleans is that you can't find that culture anywhere else. If they had let the city die, a unique part of the U.S. would have been gone forever.

HHV was my favorite vendor for tobacco flavors...

It took me months, but I do have my own DIY tobacco now that has been a daily vape for a spell, I mix it for a few others as well :)

You need to open up your own store so we can try your liquids. :D

It is nice for me that the spousal unit vapes as well, very little explainin' other than than my mod habit

Yep. It's an uphill battle trying to explain everything to my wife sometimes, even if she does vape a bit.

I'm a heavily tattooed, very petite, educated woman. I'm like an enigma! I learned a long time ago to not care what people think of me/judge me. And now I smoke these bizarre looking e cigs :p

Meh. Here in South Carolina almost everyone is tattooed. I'd do it except I'm not into pain. lol. My tolerance for pain is very high but with the nerve damage in my legs and feet from my back injuries (and my back pain), I have no desire to sit in a chair and have someone needle me for several hours. If I were to ever do it though, I'd either get a tattoo of Donald Duck throwing a tantrum or Sully roaring. :)

Tobacco juices are very hard to find a good one, now I am by no means a Tobacco Aficionado, but there are a few that I actually enjoy

:p

I appreciate the information Dusty. I hope you feel better soon. My wife has gall bladder issues and failing kidneys from her pregnancy. So like me, she is always in a lot of pain but she can't really take painkillers or even tylenol to help. At least with my issues if it gets bad enough I always have the option to go get some painkillers to get me through the worst of it. :/ For some reason she says that using a heating pad actually helps her. So we have a his an her heating pad.

Dusty we all hope your pain eases up for you....that is terrible to have to live with.
tattoos....my 21 yr old granddaughter has many....some were not happy when they discovered them, and since then she has gotten many more. She is a gorgeous girl....inside and out....a great mother of a new born, great wife and has never had an enemy as far as I know....so who cares about the artwork !!!!!!

+1

Tobacco eliquid - A few months ago I got into all the yummy flavors, and started vaping
various things throughout the day, then realized I really wanted to smoke analogs, and did
smoke 1 or 2 a day for awhile. Realized I needed a stronger nic level for about the first
six hours of the day, and realized it has to be a potent, in your face flavor. A few weeks
ago, was vaping a vanilla tobacco from V4L and discovered it left a sort of 'just smoked
a cigarette' taste on the back of my tongue. Went up on my nic level during the day and
also ordered some tobacco flavored juice (555, Ry4), and in addition ordered some of those
other flavors that I find leave the same affect in your mouth and tongue (vanilla tobacco,
caramel stuff, and a few almond and other nut stuff). I need a cut throat in your face,
bold flavor in higher nic during the day, and save the sweet, fun flavors in lower nic for the
evenings.

I can relate to this. Lately, I have found myself craving a smoke. Since I've cut back to 6mg. the last couple months I've decided that this must be a nic/taste level thing....much like yours. I also need the 'in your face' flavors and find myself chasing them but not getting them. Cinnamon roll helps, and so does the Morning Vape, but I'm finding that a lot of my flavors are tasting the same to me. I think I need a kick in the .... flavor and nic wise so I'm glad I'm getting the DIY stuff this next week. I'm going to bump up the flavors that I do have and hope that helps. The first few months, when I was at 12mg. nic, I never craved cigs. It's disconcerting to want one now. I don't want to want one!! Anyway, I've been awake since 7 last night and probably need sleep more than anything, so see you all later. And Dusty....I know you need to wait for your surgery for obvious reasons, but this is nothing to mess with either. I think someone told me that it can get serious if you wait too long....just say'n....take care of yourself buddy. Your health is more important than any job.

Leave for a bit and come back to pages! Caught up now :) I've got 2 tattoos 1 on each shoulder. Both of them have deep sentimental meaning, so no worries of regret for me. I plan on getting more, but they will be able to be covered by a t shirt :D
My other half who usually vapes one flavor is finally getting the crud me and the kids had. Sent him to work with Candy Cane. Told him it'll feel good when his throat gets really sore. It was amazing when I had the same thing

To be clear, I don't think there's anything wrong with not wanting a tattoo on *oneself*, but man, judging people who are tattooed is just a sign that the judger has too much time on their hands.

Shamelessly borrowed from a post I made at Favorite Famous Quotes - Chevy HHR Network

"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance. This principle is, contempt prior to examination."

Misattributed to Herbert Spencer .
Actually a misquote from William Paley.

Also from William Paley in Natural Theology : or, Evidences of the Existence and Attributes of the Deity, Collected from the Appearances of Nature (1802)

"Virtue is infinitely various.
There is no situation in which a rational being is placed, from that of the best instructed Christian down to the condition of the rudest barbarian, which affords not room for moral agency; for the acquisition, exercise, and display of voluntary qualities, good and bad.
Health and sickness, enjoyment and suffering, riches and poverty, knowledge and ignorance, power and subjection, liberty and bondage, civilisation and barbarity, have all their offices and duties, all serve for the formation of character: for when we speak of a state of trial, it must be remembered, that characters are not only tried, or proved, or detected, but that they are generated also, and formed, by circumstances.
The best dispositions may subsist under the most depressed, the most afflicted fortunes."

I just read this for the first time today when I was searching that first quote that I've enjoyed for about 22 years.

My take on it is this example from my life:

My wife and I were driving north on Interstate 93 from NH to Vermont on our honeymoon about 8 years ago.
We saw a mess of splattered ducks up ahead with a MC biker holding an injured duck in his arms by the side of the carnage on the road.
We pulled over to offer assistance if we could.
He was a scary, rough 1% MC patched guy with tears welling in his eyes from desperation, frustration & compassion.
He saw cars ahead of him run right through a family of ducks crossing the road without swerving or slowing. No brakelights. Nothing.
He knew the area so we took the duck and followed him to the local animal emergency clinic.
We chatted with him there and he's friends with our friend that's the Prez of a Cape Cod Chapter 1% MC.

It doesn't matter where he came from or what he's done in the past, when it came to that injured duck that he wanted to help he was a 10 year old kid with a good heart.
That was one of the most touching events of my life.

Very common English idiom "don't judge a book by its cover"
origin - Roman author Juvenal (1st and 2nd centuries AD)
