If the study they're referring to is the same one I analyzed for this thread a week or so back, I'm pretty  right now. This is why laymen shouldn't read medical studies... they freak out due to big words (when what the study actually says is "huh, that's weird, haven't the foggiest what this means and it'll be years before we're ready to do an in vivo (in living things) study!"), and then companies freak out and do things like this. Arrrgh. Who do I have to bribe now to get some Sticky Bun? And if Pumpkin Spice and Sticky Bun are *both* gone now, there's no real point in me making a MBV order. Not a threat at all, but those are two of my ADVs right there, and the ADVs of two other people I was going to be ordering for.

Lol dusty. My dog is a male. They both are. I hope he feels better soon too. I caught the other one eating a paper towel that definitely had e juice on it.....of course he's fine tho. Its the one who never gets into anything that's not feeling well.

Ahhh, ok, well I hope he feels better soon and stops eating juicy paper towels!

ok i got this MVP2 thingie today and got it charged up. i only paid $42 for it, which is not even twice as much as i pay for my bigger eGo variable voltage batteries....so i can't get hurt too bad even if i hate it. so far i don't hate it. but i don't love it.

for a guy, i am sure this would be fine. it's heavy....and it's massive. at least for my little hand it is. and the button is kind of hard to push with my thumb. so i am using my thumb nail, which is hazardous because i risk breaking a nail. which i hate.

ok so that is the bad stuff. the good......

i like the screen and the adjustable voltage and wattage. i also like the fact that i can vape while it's being charged. it produces lots of rich white vapor.

i don't think i will likely use the clearos that came with it. it looks like there is enough rope in each one to hang myself with. so i can see why they would be juice hogs. but my carto tanks, T3's, and mini protanks look and work fine on it.

i am gonna try it out for a few days and see if i can get used to it. the device does seem well made and sturdy. so we shall see.

Oh, yeah, btw, I kept meaning to mention to you that I have not had any luck making the Sweet Tarts juice from what flavor you sent me, but I got kind creative I guess and mixed in some with some left over Orange Dream Bar and must saying it was pretty damn good, gonna try it again when I get some much need supplies but don't know if I will be able to hold out now until Black Friday as I get my check this Friday.

Believe it or not we moved here partly for the job market. Way better than what I was seeing in central florida. I know that doesn't help you right now but perhaps it is something to keep in mind for the future.

I'm 5'0", so I've got small hands (and arthritis, to boot!). It *is* heavy and there's no way around that. The button loosens up substantially over time, as I'd hoped it would. Mine's about as easy to push as a regular ego button now, after 2 weeks of heavy vaping. The positioning of the button remains awkward - it would work better on the side, especially for those of us with small hands - but that, I'm used to. I can hit it with almost any finger now, but instead, I tend to wrap my hand all the way round (the tip of my thumb just barely meets the tip of my index finger when I do that), and press the button with the knuckle of my thumb. That was possible but difficult when the button was new; I actually triggered an RA flare in my hands after a few days. Now, though, it takes very little pressure and is quite comfortable.

I feel bad for you having a hard time with your new device. It may be too late, but for what it's worth the MVP version 1 has a much softer button press.

This is the study they link to as a reason to pull the cinnamon juices:
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0887233313002610

(note: This reply is not directed *at* anyone, I'm just frustrated atm.)

Yep, that's the same study I looked at before, although there are more details now than when I first saw it. I'll reiterate what I said then... gas chromatography != human studies, and what chemicals do to cells in a petri dish != human studies. In petri dishes, we've already cured cancer, cystic fibrosis, and AIDS. Seriously... I used to work on a few research teams. I was present at all of those very exciting moments.... and you've probably never even heard they happened. Why? Because as soon as research moved from petri dish to actual human body, what we thought we'd worked out was, in order - insanely toxic, useless, and useless. In all three cases the human studies were aborted within days/months because they weren't *going* anywhere and we could all see that.

Petri dish studies and gas chromo are the first step used for medical folks to *figure things out*. If every company that has a cinnamon juice yanks it in a panic based on this one study (or any study like it), we won't have cinnamon juices for *years*... because that's how long it will take to get from where we are now to "what does this actually do *in the body*, not to cells in isolation?"
