If the study they're referring to is the same one I analyzed for this thread a week or so back, I'm pretty  right now. This is why laymen shouldn't read medical studies... they freak out due to big words (when what the study actually says is "huh, that's weird, haven't the foggiest what this means and it'll be years before we're ready to do an in vivo (in living things) study!"), and then companies freak out and do things like this. Arrrgh. Who do I have to bribe now to get some Sticky Bun? And if Pumpkin Spice and Sticky Bun are *both* gone now, there's no real point in me making a MBV order. Not a threat at all, but those are two of my ADVs right there, and the ADVs of two other people I was going to be ordering for.

That's exactly why I was asking for more info, as I am without a doubt a layman :) I'm hoping it's just one of those things that's really no where near as bad as they try to make it sound by throwing out a bunch of terms I don't and have no desire to understand. Everybody has their own thing, computers are my thing, medical studies are not. So just as I help others understand why their PC won't boot, I rely on others to explain medical issues to me.

Basically what it says is "Some cinnamon flavorings emit some chemicals that kill some cells in petri dishes."

That might be enough for some people to make the choice to avoid cinnamon, and I would entirely support anyone who made that choice. It's not *nearly* enough information to categorically state "all cinnamon juices kill cells in petri dishes," though, and it's *certainly* not enough information to make any statements at all about whether *any* cinnamon juice does *anything* bad to the human body. It may, it may not - we don't know, because they haven't gotten that far in their testing.

Yeah. It's pretty much up to us to make our own decisions on cinnamon
juices, as there will always be a company who will sell us some. I long for the
days we didn't have studies after studies by so called experts on everything from
boogars to cars. Life was so much simpler then. I take these things like a grain
of salt.

ok i got this MVP2 thingie today and got it charged up. i only paid $42 for it, which is not even twice as much as i pay for my bigger eGo variable voltage batteries....so i can't get hurt too bad even if i hate it. so far i don't hate it. but i don't love it.

for a guy, i am sure this would be fine. it's heavy....and it's massive. at least for my little hand it is. and the button is kind of hard to push with my thumb. so i am using my thumb nail, which is hazardous because i risk breaking a nail. which i hate.

ok so that is the bad stuff. the good......

i like the screen and the adjustable voltage and wattage. i also like the fact that i can vape while it's being charged. it produces lots of rich white vapor.

i don't think i will likely use the clearos that came with it. it looks like there is enough rope in each one to hang myself with. so i can see why they would be juice hogs. but my carto tanks, T3's, and mini protanks look and work fine on it.

i am gonna try it out for a few days and see if i can get used to it. the device does seem well made and sturdy. so we shall see.

I hope you continue to like it more and more! I didn't like my SiD at first BC it seemed so much bigger than my zmax, but now I prefer the way it hits over my other pvs.
It took me about a week to get the hang of holding my REO. I think I hold it while I vape much differently than other box mod users, but it works for me and my tiny hands. I hope yours really isn't too heavy and just needs some time to get used to it.
I still would have given you my pink vamo :p

I feel bad for you having a hard time with your new device. It may be too late, but for what it's worth the MVP version 1 has a much softer button press.

nah don't feel bad for me. like sean said, the button will probably loosen up some with use. and he is also right about it being more convenient if it was located on the side. to me, the whole thing just feels very masculine. and i am anything but. however, i will adjust (tho i will not grow a PUD). :p

Believe it or not we moved here partly for the job market. Way better than what I was seeing in central florida. I know that doesn't help you right now but perhaps it is something to keep in mind for the future.

I appreciate that, however I was born and raised in South Florida, moved to North Central Florida as it's where I wish to live, i'll just have to make due or choose a different profession. I did spend time in South Carolina pretty state, but that goes back a long ways when I first joined the Army. I have not had a desire to leave the State of Florida permanently, I have been to many states, all of which has the own merits in one form or another. The other issue is both of my parents, while being divorced for over 40 years but are on friendly terms now after many years of not, each of whom are now in the 80's and are in this area, so that is another factor. I have also been checking out different colleges to finish getting a Bachelors which at this point will be a asset for the type of work I normally do. So I will just have to tough it out for the time being unless something life changing comes around.

Thanks for the chuckle, Sam, I needed that. This whole thing is making me want a smoke. I won't actually have one - besides the fact that I don't want to land myself back in the hospital, I don't keep cigs in the house and I don't drive, so no way to obtain any... which is very much on purpose.

But this is the first time I've even had the faintest craving since I started vaping, so I'm a little ticked that, of all things, it's juice unavailability that triggered it.

Then again, Other People's Stupidity always was the biggest thing that made me want a smoke, so.

(I'm not calling MBV or anyone who works there stupid for not knowing how to read that study, btw. Everyone has different strengths, and knowing how to read studies is a skill *most* people don't have. I *do* think it's incredibly reactionary of them to make this decision when they clearly aren't sure what the study says, however, and kneejerk reactions upset me.)

And this whole unavailability thing might not be for very long.
I have no idea.
I do have some cinnamon roll and sticky bun here if you want it, but if it's permanently
pulled that will just postpone things. Wait and see what happens first.

amen, dear. cinnamon, like every other substance we ingest, will affect SOMEONE negatively. that is no reason to over react. i mean, what would happen if they did that with coffee? there would be a ginormous uprising like nothing ever seen before!

well, it's not like i have to worry about long term affects!

i have my suspicions that somehow big tobacco is involved in this whole thing somehow. i no longer watch "the news", i just make sure i stay caught up on Abby Martin. i wait until others have "deciphered' the "news" that is "emitted to the people".

Thanks, mcol. I know... I'll be over it by tomorrow morning, honestly, and whatever happens happens. I think most of my frustration has to do with the fact that Sticky Bun and Pumpkin Spice are the two juices I've been rationing for the past week because I'm nearly out, so I was literally counting the days till I could order more - Black Friday is also payday, so there was no chance of ordering sooner. So I'd mess with my MBV cart every day in anticipation... and now I'm having to seriously contemplate whether it might be more cost effective to restock somewhere else. If Pumpkin Spice is still around and/or if Sticky Bun comes back before Black Friday, I'll be happy to order from MBV... but if they're both gone, my upcoming order money is going to have to go to another vendor (the only alternative would be to place an order at MBV for a couple juices I'm fond of, but could live without, and then *another* order at another vendor that has some flavors I already know are ADVs for me... and I can't afford to place two orders.) I'd *vastly* prefer to give MBV my money.

And aside from my personal stake in things, it seems a really, really poor business decision to discontinue several popular flavors a week before Black Friday. If they don't bring them back before then, I'd bet I won't be the only one forced to decide who gets my Black Friday money.
