Morning allayas :)
got my cafe coffee rockin with a cup of coffee.. alternating with sticky buns, and ya know, after being in a clearo overnight my almost 1 yr old 12mg whipped cream is fascinating me too.

Morning all.....I won a 30ml bottle of my choice from perfection Vapes last night on mod envy anybody ever tried any of their juices.....any recommendations?

Never tried their juice.. price point shock.. but me, I'd go with no nic cucumber.. been wanting to try cucumber all by itself for a while and those folks do plain VG, unlike others where I've seen that flavor.

I've only had Perfection Vapes' Halloween Pumpkin Pie, which is pretty good. I have their Egg Nog steeping now. Both are 15ml bottles that I won from the after hours portion of mod Envy. If you do order anything else along with your win, the code "CELTICFURY" (another host on Vaughn) will give you over 30% off.

My buddy is recommending a RSST Genesis tank. Thoughts?

I find them very finicky, and tilty. IMO They are tough to get right and I wouldn't really run it on a twist unless you are going with higher ohms, 1.5 or higher. I find the gennies work way better on a mech but YMMV.

They always talk about the 'kringle' series. Anything that ends in 'kringle' is supposed to be great. Last night they were really talking up 'Krackle Kringle'. If it were me I would go with something you can't get from our MBV peeps. So many choices, though, huh? I only got part of the way through the sweets before I quit looking. Too spendy for my blood! Congrats on your win!!! :)

thanks.....looked at their website....way too many to choose from. have never heard them mentioned before and was just going to pick something somebody has liked. way too expensive to experiment.

Cool. She did you a real service in the way she brought you up. It's good you are so close now. I wish i would have had that good of a relationship with my mom. It's a gift. On the sticky bun, did you know that was included in the cinnamon flavors that have been shelved for now? Unless they bring them back, I'm afraid there will be no sticky bun for BF unfortunately. I love it too and am down to about 15ml. so I'm hoarding it for now. :(

Yeah, I had my freak out about that the night they got pulled. I've moved on to "c'est la vie." (See, told you guys I'd get over it quick.) Besides, the "study" was a catastrophe - having read the whole thing now, I honestly think it's a case of research misconduct, but if not, it is *on* the line for such - and, presumably having realized as much, James posted yesterday on the supplier's thread that they'd be making a public statement Tuesday "and hint hint it's pretty positive."

In other words, I am *so* not worried about running out of Sticky Bun. But if they announce on Tuesday they're never ever ever bringing it back because cinnamon kills you dead, I would also not be worried, because I know that's not a true statement (at least not on the basis of that study).

Seanchai: never being able to skip school? i wouldn't have survived.

congrats on 4 months, Mia! :vapor:

Not once from kindergarten to 12th grade. Mind you, I was out sick a staggering amount, but always genuinely ill!

Made up for the lifetime with not a single day's truancy when I got to college. I *am* human, after all. :D

And yes, congratulations Mia!

No, Sam, I haven't, but I tend not to watch a lot of documentaries. I kind of go for the 'entertainment' factor as the *committee* in my head is usually spinning with heavy stuff without extra help...but 2 questions...Will it make me feel worse than when I turned it on, and can it be seen on Netflix? Thanks for the thought.

have you seen the documentary, Century of the Self?

you can see it on....here:

imho, it is a great piece of information, though the second of the 3 parts is a little much. it is about how advertising and tv are use to shape our wants and desires. seeing as they want us all to want the same thing, it is also used to control us.

it's one of the reasons i just won't watch live tv. disc, youtube or netflix. i'll warp my own mind, thank you very much!

It depends...a lot. RSSTs can be an experience in frustration, so has your buddy got one? Has he set it up successfully? Would he be willing to help if you got stuck? What kind of a setup on the RSST are you thinking about? Do you have access to the wire and mesh or sylica or cotton, or ??? Do you have a multimeter? Do you know ohms law? Do you have a PV besides a twist? Either a mech or VV or VW? Are you a "tinkerer"?

I did recently see a guy that took his RSST into a vape shop and had them wire it up, but that seems to defeat the point in having an RBA.

I grew up in the tv generation and have to admit I love it....always have. Except for those years in my 20's when it was all music all the time, I've been pretty much warping my mind on a regular basis. I'll leave the heavy stuff to you and Mowgli...is that bad?? Well, on second thought, I guess if I'm honest, I've reached that age where I don't have to apologize for my likes. Groove on buddy!

 One of these days, I hope to make it pay off similarly. Just a matter of how much school I can a) afford and b) drag this body through at this stage. I did the working-while-going-to-school thing the first time around and I just can't physically handle that, I have to do one or the other or my stamina tanks to the point that I'm doing both very badly. Since I haven't got any rich relations, let alone some with one foot in the grave, that means saving up one class at a time. So we'll see how far I get. I've got a resume that basically *looks* like I've already qualified, so it confuses people, but that stuff is all from when I was a 16 year old wunderkind and hiring me was a novelty and a feather in their cap (CDC, a couple cystic fibrosis centers, etc). These days I'm just another gimp without a "real" (i.e. 9-to-5) day job. Considerably less noteworthy. And now that I'm in my 30s, saying things like "I graduated at 16!" sounds just a little bit sad and desperate.

So, I'm *slowly* working toward saving up for school. I'll get there, it's just a matter of whether I get my CRTT/RRT cert and decide to cut my losses financially and physically, or if I go for the full monty of med school/pulmonology fellow/CF specialty, which is what I've wanted to do since I was about four. I passed a practice MCAT at 13 (see? it just sounds pathetic now, "I used to be a smart person!"), so mentally, I can do it, everything I need is in my head... it's just a matter of whether I can drag my body through the ridiculously long process. And pay for the privilege.
