I did try it about a week in and the flavor was fairly weak (2 shots 65/35 like all my liquids nowadays). It was not offensive by any means but wasn't exactly what I expected either. The CLS tank is almost dry and will be putting Clove in after a coil rinse/burn/rinse routine here in the next hour. So we'll see.
Ok so Clove.. It is definitely straight Clove, but it is leaving a bit of a bitter aftertaste. This one is not sweet at all. It does not remind me of the Clove cigarettes which were a tad sweet for me, but rather it reminds me of the Clove spice smell that I used to get when using it in recipes. So A little bitter on the aftertaste and fairly dry. I like a sweet vape so I may cut it with something else to change it up a bit. Might be good as a palette cleanser. Cranking up the voltage gives it a smokey flavor as I border on burning the liquid but it is missing any complexity. Just straight clove spice like you might get at the supermarket which fits its description exactly. Definitely a palette cleanser but not an adv.
The aftertaste is killing it for me. definitely needs some sweetness to kill off that aftertaste. lol

Ok so this is what I am reading about Clove. There should be some sweetness to it that I am just not getting at ALL. Which is weird. So weird I had to go look up Clove to see what it would pair with and if I should be getting some sweetness. This is what I found. might be an idea for what you want to cut it with:
What Pairs Well With Cloves?
More than 85 percent percent of the complex flavor we identify as clove is due to eugenol. This is helpful from a culinary point of view: Other ingredients rich in eugenol tend to pair nicely with cloves. Unsurprisingly, cinnamon and allspice are high on that list, but so are some less obvious flavors: vanilla, red wine, and basil.
Okay, so vanilla's still too obvious for you? When's the last time you tasted vanilla with clove in the absence of cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg? Sweets like cookies and ice cream are straightforward choices options, ones which really let the flavor of clove shine through when it's so often denied the opportunity. But also consider savory possibilities, such as infusing some cloves and the tiniest bit of vanilla in a red wine sauce or marinade for steak (clove loves red meat).
So it's time to mix. I will drop a bit of the clove out of my tank and add maybe 50% cinnamon roll as an experiment.
