And The Black House which is The Talisman's sequel. :D These two cross paths with the Dark Tower series as well.

You're right, Black House was a good one too. I keep hoping they will write a third installment. He's one of my favorite King characters, after Roland, Eddie Dean, and Stu Redman.

Nice job. Constructive criticism: Make sure you state your nic level, PG/VG ratio, and how many flavor shots (including 0) you got for each bottle. All of those things can affect the flavor/vape experience, so they're one of the first things I consider when I'm weighing how valuable a video review is to me.

You also didn't talk very much about what the other flavors actually taste like - flavor description is a difficult thing to do and takes some practice, but keep in mind we can't taste/smell what you're vaping, so try to take a stab at it. You described the Grape well.

Hope that helps.
Great job ViSioNx :thumb: I completely agree with Seanchai :)
Thanks. That helps a lot. I was really wanting to do a flavor vid after a few more days of steeping. I didnt want to jump the gun on my oppinions without proper steep time. I will be going back and doing a flavor review by itself soon.

Thanks again for the tips. I will keep them in mind :)

PS. I will be sure to work ECF in my next vid ;)
It might be a complete pain, but doing individual flavor reviews might be most helpful to your audience since some vapers don't like some flavor types and probably won't want to hear about the flavors they dislike. Please link your next video :)
I've been ready mostly space operas lately.. I'm strange. The more odd the book, the more I'll like it.

In vaping news, my purple REO mini is getting a twin! Now I need a cute purple drip tip... But I already have a purple Piggie!
Congrats Mia...I think you officially qualify as a Reonaut now
Have you checked out Mr. Vape drip tips? Some of them are really cool...they aren't "cute," though.

Most of King's books don't scare me. I read his books because he is an awesome story-teller. :D There are one or two that have put a bit of fright into me, but i have read every single one of his novels and many of them several times. Beyond King, I don't read much in the way of horror books. He sucked me in early when I was in my teens. Mostly I read fantasy, thrillers, some sci-fi, etc. And yeah I even read On Writing, which is extremely interesting in its own right.

If you read King's horror novels but haven't read the Dark Tower series, you are missing out. He has tied all of his "worlds" together via the Dark Tower Series and a couple of books he co-wrote with Peter Straub.

Vaping Kelli's Cinnamon Roll (Cinnabun) today. as usual. With some Custard's Last Stand thrown in for good measure. When I finish CLS I think I will load a tank of Clove (MBV) in its place to give that a go as it has been sitting for a few weeks now. Speaking of which, I hope Kelli,Dusty, and Roonies are doing okay. :)

Let us know how you like the clove. I've been wanting to try it for ages - finally ordered it on BF. Curious to see how much of a steep it needs.

I ordered pud cake last night in one of my orders, and although it's not listed as such, some of the reviews I read said that it was a tank cracker. Anyone have experience with this? I use evods exclusively, for the time being, and have one dedicated to an ADV tank cracker, cinnamon roll, and have had no issues.

Thanks Stoneface. I have been contemplating single flavor reviews but not to sure on flooding the channel with 2 min vids. I will give it a shot though.

I don't mind reviews with multiple flavors; sometimes it gets me to try something I otherwise wouldn't be aware exists. I won't watch a multi-flavor review if the flavors reviewed aren't listed in the description, though.

My ideal description looks something like this (listed in the order they're reviewed):

Mt. Baker Vapor - Sticky Bun 65/35, 18mg, 2 flavor shots, steeped X days
Mt. Baker Vapor - Hawk Sauce 50/50, 12mg, 1 flavor shot, steeped X days
Mt. Baker Vapor - Fruit Striped Gum, 80/20, 6mg, 0 flavor shots, steeped X days
D&D Vapor - Doug's Tobacco Blend, 70/30, 18mg, no menthol, no sweetener, full flavor, steeped X days

In other words, I like it when I can see at a glance *exactly* what the reviewer will be reviewing, including of all the available options, even if those options weren't selected (like no menthol).

If juices are listed in order of review, I can skip to what I'm interested in if I'm short on time. Timestamps in the description would be a huge bonus... then viewers can click the timestamp link and go directly to what sounds good. Almost *no one* provides *all* of the necessary info in the description, and I don't think I've *ever* seen anyone include timestamps.

Anyone who did would have a loyal viewer in me, if only because by taking 60 seconds of their time to add info to the description, they've made sure that I can quickly find the info that I need if I want to order the same juice.

you must mean Tolstoy and Dostoyesvsky, cuz i doubt anyone was reading Donaldson in college.

i skipped college for a year at a Vo-Tech, but short stories by T & D are still fun! (you know, if you're boring like me)

and the Thomas Covenant, The Unbeliever series are great, if you can get through the 50 page (or so) intro on leprosy (Covenant has leprosy). a leper is an interesting choice for an anti-hero.

i imagine i'm vaping something...

I watch multiple flavor reviews too and don't mind them at all. I just thought others might appreciate it more especially since we get so many questions about single flavors on the thread :)

I did try it about a week in and the flavor was fairly weak (2 shots 65/35 like all my liquids nowadays). It was not offensive by any means but wasn't exactly what I expected either. The CLS tank is almost dry and will be putting Clove in after a coil rinse/burn/rinse routine here in the next hour. So we'll see.

Ok so Clove.. It is definitely straight Clove, but it is leaving a bit of a bitter aftertaste. This one is not sweet at all. It does not remind me of the Clove cigarettes which were a tad sweet for me, but rather it reminds me of the Clove spice smell that I used to get when using it in recipes. So A little bitter on the aftertaste and fairly dry. I like a sweet vape so I may cut it with something else to change it up a bit. Might be good as a palette cleanser. Cranking up the voltage gives it a smokey flavor as I border on burning the liquid but it is missing any complexity. Just straight clove spice like you might get at the supermarket which fits its description exactly. Definitely a palette cleanser but not an adv.

The aftertaste is killing it for me. definitely needs some sweetness to kill off that aftertaste. lol

Update...

Ok so this is what I am reading about Clove. There should be some sweetness to it that I am just not getting at ALL. Which is weird. So weird I had to go look up Clove to see what it would pair with and if I should be getting some sweetness. This is what I found. might be an idea for what you want to cut it with:

What Pairs Well With Cloves?

More than 85 percent percent of the complex flavor we identify as clove is due to eugenol. This is helpful from a culinary point of view: Other ingredients rich in eugenol tend to pair nicely with cloves. Unsurprisingly, cinnamon and allspice are high on that list, but so are some less obvious flavors: vanilla, red wine, and basil.

Okay, so vanilla's still too obvious for you? When's the last time you tasted vanilla with clove in the absence of cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg? Sweets like cookies and ice cream are straightforward choices options, ones which really let the flavor of clove shine through when it's so often denied the opportunity. But also consider savory possibilities, such as infusing some cloves and the tiniest bit of vanilla in a red wine sauce or marinade for steak (clove loves red meat).

So it's time to mix. I will drop a bit of the clove out of my tank and add maybe 50% cinnamon roll as an experiment.

Final update: 50/50 Cinnamon Roll and Clove cuts a LOT of the bitterness and gives you a pretty pleasant spice explosion with a hint of sweetness that I think many will like. It is definitely much better now. In the future I will mix it 70/30 with Cinnamon Roll on the heavy side.

Tolstoy and Dostoyesvsky are a lot of things, but "boring" isn't one of those. I prefer Joyce, Yeats, Behan, Swift, and Montague for my pseudo-intellectual pursuits. Falkner, Hemingway and Bukowski are all good reads, too. And of course, Hunter S Thompson and The Bard. (That's probably the first and last time either of those will appear in the same sentence, but there you go).

Roddy Doyle is still who I'll pick up for a "comfort read," though. He's a marmite author; people either love him or hate him, but I think he's a genius. He was the author, more than any other, who "taught" me about writing voice, and that writing, done well, is a complicated and fantastically fun form of ventriloquism.

Thanks, Doug. Sounds like it'll be a good mixer for sweet vapes, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
