just had a thought.....could you get a job helping fix your own place?? I figure you probably have the skills.

Hi'ya Joie,

I'd be more then happy to send you some of the air, but it's been nasty out today, lots of rain and some areas were getting flooded a bit. But I a sure you would rather have that then what you are dealing with. It was in the 70's earlier, we are actually going to be in the 30's over the next few days, I know, still better then what most of you guys and gals are getting.

The apartments are being worked on, but there is still so much left for them to do, they have removed quite a bit of the damaged sections. I was told it's going to be a few more weeks to a month or so, depends on many factors and with the Holiday approaching, which actually is being helpful, they are putting a few more people on the project, so will see.

Welcome, poetic_injustices! Take it from someone else who's broke, that deal on MVP 2.0 is an *excellent* investment. Do pick one up as soon as you can swing the $43 (total with shipping from 101vape).

I literally haven't *touched* any other gear since... still have some mostly-dead 808s and one Ego for emergencies, and I'm keeping them around just in case, but that's all they're for - in case of catastrophe. I'm planning on picking up another MVP in a month or two so that my backup is just as good as my main gear... it's that reliable.

Only two real quibbles with it - it is heavy, and the button takes a little time to soften up. But if you can deal with those things, you get a day and a half to two days of battery life, you can use it while it's charging (aka "passthrough" function), you can charge your phone off of it (or almost anything else short of a laptop), and you have variable voltage, variable wattage, and an ohm checker. (Plus the usual safety stuff - overcharge protection, short protection, etc.) The battery isn't user replaceable, which may be a minus for some people - for me, it was a plus, cause I don't like messing with naked lithium ion batteries.

MBV has a good price on them too - not quite as low as 101vape, but you get a free bottle of juice plus a free sample bottle, so it comes down to whether you'd like/can afford your MVP with juice or without.

Welcome to our little group!!!! I've ordered from Myvaporstore several times. They ship fast....like MBV.....speaking of whom, I would have spent more money than I can imagine if I hadn't have found this group. We may enable each other, but at least we're getting our monies worth!!

Question.....I just filled my last tank of Blu Moo.....anyone have a recipe? I have blueberry and almost every other flavor in DIY stock here. I need to mix up a bottle of something that resembles Blu Moo pronto.....I'd forgotten how friggen tasty it is and now I'm almost out!!
My theory would be 12% blueberry and 3-4% sweet cream. Haven't tried it just my opinion.

Maybe a little vanilla cupcake in there too? The image on the site shows a blueberry muffin so I've always kind of thought it was part cake too. I guess I'll experiment. Your values sound about right, though, so thanks! I'll post how it goes.

lol, strange, yes I actually did ask, but no they have their own crew, however when the times comes I might get to do the tile work in the other apartments bathroom, they pretty much got all that torn down, my bathroom is fine though.

Maybe you could get some rent free time for work done. trade it out ya know? Bartering is a great thing!

I have a battery question. If the red vinyl (or whatever it is) coating is peeling off at the bottom is it still safe? My battery fell on the kitchen floor and the coating cracked at the very bottom. It's not peeled totally off but I'm not sure about the safety of it now. Anyone know? Dusty? You always know about these things? Seanchai???? don't want to blow myself up here!

The coating peeling off isn't a problem by itself, but if it hit the floor hard enough to crack the coating, I'd be a little concerned about the integrity of the battery itself (i.e. whether the actual *housing* now has a weak spot, which you wouldn't be able to see). Honestly, it's a judgment call - it's *probably* fine but there's no way to be 100% sure.

That probably wasn't the answer you're looking for, for which I apologize!

Well, this is crazy. I just happened to look in my steeping cupboard and found 10 bottles of juice I'd totally forgotten about, one of which is a 50ml. bottle of Blue Moo. I think I have an ordering problem. I need something to organize this juice in...an antique little trunk or something. My gear and juice is scattered all over the kitchen and living room. I'm becoming a hoarder...oh no!!:ohmy::?:
p.s. and a cat lady too. we have 2 cats and now my spoose thinks we need 2 new kitties. it was going to be one kitty for my younger cat to play with but someone told him we should get 2 kitties to play with each other....oy!!

At least your Blue Moo problem is solved! I'm a hoarder too; I've got a toolbox for most of my juice, and then a little 5x5 box for whatever I'm currently vaping. After this month's order, though, I'm going to have to re-organize a bit... and that's with only a handful more bottles coming in.

I had some guests today who asked if I had "any" board games... I led them to the "library" (technically it's a spare room, but it's a little small to put furniture in, so we just put up wall to wall bookshelves) and flipped the light on - "yeah, I have a few..."

There are four bookcases full of board games in that room. I don't do anything by halves. :D

Thanks, I just would love to get back into my own place.

Fingers crossed that it happens sooner rather than later - it was a month and a half or so for us to get back into our place when the tree came down on it (Nov. 8th to just before Christmas, iirc). Definitely not an ideal situation for the holidays. Hope you can at least get some work out of the deal, though.

Where the vinyl cover is peeling are there any signs of metal in that area that's peeling? You want to be as safe as possible, and not have a short. Considering the price of a battery as opposed to the price that could potentially be an issue, I'd personally would opt to replace it. Better safe then sorry!

Thanks. The metal is not compromised at all but I hear what you're saying. I need back ups anyway so should probably just replace it. I have 3 of these, the 18350's, and 2 18500's so I need to beef up the battery collection. And better safe than sorry for sure!!

is it ok if I let my pink champagne sit? Is there a bubbly feeling that's going to go away or is it fine if I don't touch it for a few weeks, I have way too much damn juice right now

Never had Pink Champagne, but Cola has that fizzy sensation too, and my bottle of Cola that's about two months old is still just as "fizzy" as it was when I first started vaping it. It's a sensory fakeout, not actual carbonation, so you should be fine. :)

I was just checking out the MBV wholesale site and they have 16 oz for like 30 dollars? How is that possible when a 236 ml on the regular website is 40 dollars. And yes this is flavored. Is there a certain amount you have to buy or something?

Not to my knowledge, but you pay significant shipping charges (actual shipping cost or close to it, I presume) on the wholesale site. It's still a fantastic deal for the amount of juice you get, but it doesn't work out significantly lower than the retail site unless you're buying more than one bottle.

(edited to clarify): The wholesale site works out considerably lower *per ml*, but the total cost for the 16 oz bottle doesn't work out cheaper than the total cost of the 236ml bottle once you add in shipping.
