Back from spirometry with some pretty amazing news... my lung function is, as near as makes no difference, in the 90th percentile... and I'm still fighting off this bug, so that's incredible. To understand just how incredible, I should explain that my lung function has been, at *best*, around 40% since I was about 14 (i.e. well before I ever smoked)... I'd given up hope of ever getting it any higher than about 60%. So to be at 90% a few months after a major lung infection is.... well, put it this way, after the first round of results, we made a mutual decision to retest the whole shebang in a different spirometry pod just to rule out the possibility that the *equipment* was faulty.

So, still kind of stunned (in a good way) and, er... vaping is awesome?

I'll go back for a retest next month because absolutely none of us are convinced this wasn't a bizarre fluke of some kind, but for now, I'll take it.

Vaping some Maple Pecan in a general celebratory fashion as I gird myself for turkey brining and side dish prep.... we're doing our Christmas tomorrow, dinner and presents both.

Sticky bun is 50% cinnamon roll and 50% something else - I think butterscotch, but don't quote me on that. I can't remember what the other 50% is. 50% caramel candy. Fixed it 'cause someone with a brain working better than mine is at the moment (aka Sambuca) posted the right flavor.

I find sticky bun much sweeter than cinnamon roll.

Are you sure it's not maple? I haven't tasted it in a while, but I seem to remember maple...

Some things never change! Even when my little brother lives 2 hours away, and he is 40, and i am 46 (there, i said it!), he can STILL manage to get on my nerves to the point of insanity!!!!!! Oy!!

Vaping Butterscotch, but it isnt helping the urge to "hit" that little brother of mine!!!

 Sorry, this just struck me as really funny, but it's his job to do that! :D And your saying it's 46 Degree's out now also! Hmmmm... :p

I dont know if it is different policy where you live, but here, if you make an effort of monthly payments of $5.00, they can not do anything as far as sending you to collections or anything like that. I used to work in a huge orthopedic group in the accounts receivable department, and as long as patients made regular $5 payments, we had to accept that. And i have seen patients owe thousands more than what you owe!

Well that actually depends on if the provider accepts the payment, which normally they do and typically an account will not be turned over to collections for a period of 60 without a payment. I've worked in the Patient Accounting Field for a very long time, haven't been able to get back in there since moving up to where I am now. But you are correct if they actually take the payment as that then becomes an accepted arrangement.
