Well, to be safe, you will need to balance it out so try it from the other side, just in case there was something in the mix to collected on one side and not the other. Cover all the bases.

It may be me as well, I have been burning through the last of my really sweet DYI "Purple Drank" concoction and switching out with Lightspeed. Strong syrupy grape + strong citrus, might have thrown my taste buds off. It was helpful, just let me know it might be me

Oh you know that only covers the 2 sides, but doesn't address the top and bottom or middle so you have much more testing to do, don't want anyone getting poisoned.

It's not just you, it does become glorious after much time. I can't say for sure how long either though, I just know it's great before steeping, and every time I go back it's better and better..

Cut a 3 or 4" piece of Kanthal, fold it in half, and twist the ends together. Thread the end of the yarn into that, and then use your homemade "needle" to pull the yarn through the coil.
